The Kickstand is host to a mixture of diners – students hard at work, friends catching up, local residents, moms with little ones, and the occasional cyclist. I suspect the name comes from the fact that it is close by the bike path that runs through Somerville. Indoor and outdoor seating — as well, one-seat counter-style seating along the windows allows solo freelancers to stay awhile on their computers without taking up tables.

Great and extremely needed cafe right in the great spot of Minuteman Bike Path with lots of food variety. Great for bike picnic trips. My friends and I biked to Shannon Beach in Winchester by the way of Minuteman and I stopped here to buy my smoked turkey sandwich. They also gave me lots of ice cubes upon request and they have free cold water for our water bottles. Great stop for refreshment and making new friends. I also really love their outdoor sitting.

A great, local spot with fantastic food and coffee. Centrally located off of the bike path, Kickstand offers lots of seating, both indoors and out, to grab a bite with friends. I’d highly reccomend their grilled cheese, vietemese fresh rolls, and lattes.

Ultra slow service. Too crowded. Not worth it. Took me 25 min to get my toast and Vietnamese rolls. They need a better model. It may be trendy, but not respectful of customers.
