Pin Ramen Houston really impressed me. The broth was rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care—comforting without being overly salty. The noodles had the perfect chew, and the toppings were fresh and generous. Every bowl felt thoughtfully balanced and satisfying.
What really sets this place apart is the value. For the quality and portion size you get, the prices are great in Houston’s ramen scene. You walk out feeling full and genuinely happy with what you paid.
Me and my boyfriend came here during lunch the other and it was amazing.
We each ordered a pork bao which were the perfect texture and had good flavor. We also got a duck bao that was suuuper tender and flavorful.
They had what looked like some good priced lunch specials but we both wanted to try the black garlic ramen and made them spicy.
I don’t think I have ever eaten something so slow to savor every bite as much as I did with this. It was rich and creamy and had amazing flavor. I ate about half and this was the most excited I’ve been for leftovers from a restaurant before.
Not only that but the vibe was nice and cozy inside and the woman who served us was very attentive and kind. It was only us and two other people inside, and I know when it’s slow it’s easy to look over small things but she even grabbed me extra napkins when she noticed my napkin fell without me asking.
Very friendly owners, great service, delicious food, excellent ambiance and reasonable prices. Five stars hands down. We will definitely be back.
The restaurant itself is small but filled with Japanese decor, creating an atmosphere that transports you to a cozy ramen shop in Japan. If you’re looking to experience the feel of eating ramen in an authentic Japanese setting, this is the place to go. Whether you’re a ramen enthusiast or just curious to try a genuine Japanese ramen bowl, this spot is a must-visit!
The food is flavorful and delicious! Milktea is simple but very nice. One thing I love that she saw me coming with a toddler so she just gave me a kid spoon & fork & a small scissor without me having to ask . That’s really nice!
Overall, very nice experience! But because the building is old so the vent hood is not strong so you may get the smell on body after visit.
As for the Chashu Bao, the bun is a little thin but still really fluffy and savory. The Chashu filling is tender and not too fatty at all. Really really good. I highly recommend and place a try especially if you’re a ramen head like me.
