Kid approved! We had a great experience at Drake’s Place. We ordered the farmer’s breakfast and a hamburger, and for our child we got the chocolate chip pancake with a fruit cup. Everything was fresh and delicious, and our child loved their meal. The staff was very friendly, service was fast, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back again.

My wife and I decided to give Drakes Place a try the same week they opened. The food was delicious so we decided to go back for breakfast the next day. Whatever ingredients they’re using please keep using them! No upset stomach, no rushing to the bathroom, just comfortably full. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Our neighborhood wants a restaurant to thrive in this spot more than ever because none of them seem to last here. The last two spots had great food and still didn’t last. I want to leave a real review just so they know what to improve on, because we feel this place has potential. A comment about our first experience at this incarnation; While the food was average, the poke bowl isn’t accurate to what a poke bowl really is. The beef used is ground beef, some cucumber, carrot and rice with a sauce. While I enjoyed it, this is already something I make frequently at home for roughtly $4 a serving vs. Spending $14 here. For that price you should have steak or salmon, and include the real ingredients of a poke bowl which you can get for the same price at a spot in Appleton five minutes away. A cup of coffee with no refills was $4, and it was very standard diner coffee, meanwhile 100 ft up the road, you can get excellent cafe coffee with the works for the same price. My husband ordered a very basic burger and fries for $16. Not bad, but very standard. Meanwhile you have Electric City Lanes (also 100 ft up the road) offering several burger options that are all unique and delicious, the portions are larger for $13/$14. I want to write this review to encourage Drakes to step up their game and really offer something better and different than what the community can get at home or nearby. We do appreciate what they are aiming for, we enjoyed our food, but to last here you gotta up the game a little.

Went for breakfast and didn’t see a breakfast that interested me, I asked the waitress if they had omlettes, she said yes just not on the menu yet. I ordered a meat lovers omelet and when asked about hashbrowns I asked if I could get fries instead and she said yes. I drank only water. The food was good and service was OK nothing outstanding. The bill came and the final total was over 21 dollars. 16 dollars for an omelets and toast and charged 4 dollars and change for fries. With a 4 dollar tip, 20%. I spent over 25 dollars for 2 pieces of bread , a few eggs, cheese and small amount of omlette meat. I will not be back as I cannot afford to spend that kind of money on a breakfast without coffee. Very disappointed in the pricing and I will never know what thier 4 dollar coffee tastes like.
