I’ll start off by saying that the little food that I did taste was delicious. BUT!!! I notice that they cut their ox tails in half. They shred their cabbage. Total rip off for the price. Plus the ox tails were dam near all bones and fat. I don’t think that it all amounted to 1 whole one. Smh!!! $17 for that! Plus I gave a $3 tip. Check out what’s left of this in the photo below. I went there when they first opened. I said that I wouldn’t return. Because they were squeezing their jerk sauce out of a bottle. RED FLAG !!! “To each is own ” tho. I would NEVER tell no one NOT to go there ( love the culture too much ). BUUUTTT !!! I would never tell anyone TOOO go there either.

Normally I try my best not to leave reviews unless they’re positive but in this instance I have to leave a review I work too hard for my money and when I do spend it I prefer to spend it on quality over quantity however that’s not the case with this place.

It’s a sad day today. I am officially done with this spot. Today marked my last day. For one, I’m getting sick of the cashier. She has the worst attitude I’ve seen someone have who works in customer service. Then, the food quality is falling off. I ordered curry chicken and when I get home the chicken is dry along with the rice. No curry sauce was poured over the chicken and rice like it normally is. I understand people make mistakes but customer service is my main reason for leaving them alone. I can’t spend my money places and have employees with an attitude taking my money acting as if I’m a bother or I’m a problem to them. No thanks! So glad Irie just opened up a location right around the corner on Lee and Chagrin!! I’ll be there moving forward.

The oxtails used to be good, I recently got them again, and they were tough and not falling off the bone, and taste like a bunch of All Spice seasoning, the cabbage was better than everything we purchased, we also ordered jerk chicken which was EXTREMELY dry and some pieces appeared undercooked and the rice literally only had 4 beans and NO seasoning this place just is not good anymore, the people are nice and get your order made fast, they may want to add some fresh paint to the inside so it doesn’t look so dingy and dirty inside

A friend recommended I try so I stopped by at around 8p for dinner. I wanted the oxtail but they were sold out (that means there good lol). So I tried the stewed chicken and it was delicious. Sooo good!! Im going back for the oxtails for sure!

When I 1st went to this store…it was respectfully to all ppl….I got looked over n never even got acknowledged as I wait there for over 10mins. The nasty attitude I seen was really nasty. Hopefully they don’t treat white ppl like this. I’ve NEVER been to a place this disrespectful n nasty attitude. If u don’t want to work then don’t.
