The Pim Thai truck came to our work today and omg amazing food! So packed full of flavor and I ate past fullness but worth it! The spring rolls are killer!

Overall great Thai food! Spring rolls were 10/10, pad Thai was 8/10, and the yellow curry was 8/10. The big portions were great for leftovers, and they made the food super quick.

Had Pim’s Thai on Tuesday with family when they were catering a neighborhood.

The service was fantastic, very nice and quite fast as well. And I’m baffled by the poor reviews, because the food and portions were good as well.

Tried the Pad Thai Shrimp, Fried Chicken, Dumplings, Crab Rangoon, Spring Rolls, Mango Boba, and the Mango Fruit Chiller.

Pad Thai Shrimp and Fried Chicken were both great. The shrimp tasted fantastic and the chicken was tender. Crab Rangoon had generous filling, Spring Rolls were crisp and not greasy, and the drinks likewise were quite good.

The prices were also reasonable, considering the ample portions and the amount of food we got. Came to around $42 for everything.

Pim’s used to be our regular go-to. Their food was the best Thai in town and when we weren’t eating it, we were often craving it.

However, in the last couple months they must have changed ownership or something because the food quality has gone shockingly downhill. Noodles were really overcooked and mushy and pretty considerable changes were made to dishes that we usually ordered like the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles and Coconut Chicken Soup that greatly impacted the quality, ingredients used, and flavors we had come to expect and appreciate.

We are pretty bummed as we really loved this place, but after giving them a few tries recently, with the hope it was a one-off experience, we probably won’t be back.

Ordered delivery from this location and all food was hot, well packed and absolutely delicious!!! The red curry with chicken is a must order. The vegetables are fresh and still crisp, the chicken moist, and the red curry sauce was savory and creamy from the perfect amount of coconut milk. We ordered mild and it was pretty spicy compared to other Thai restaurants mild but still very good. The pineapple fried rice is another must get. There was plenty of juicy chicken and plump shrimp and the pineapple added was fresh, definitely not from a can!! Can’t recommend this place enough for great Thai food.

Update:
Ordered again trying something new and it was awesome as always. The Thai Hot and Sour soup and the Chicken Coconut soup are must haves here. Both soups have rich, flavorful broths and there is plenty of chicken and vegetables in both. The ginger chicken was also excellent. Plenty of sliced juicy chicken and fresh bell peppers in a ginger sauce. The best, most consistent Thai restaurant in Omaha.

We had Pim’s Thai food truck Friday evening and it was Delicious. We had crispy chicken/fried rice and shrimp Pad Thai. We also had spring rolls and crab Rangoon. The truck only comes our way every so often so we always try and get down there before they close shop! Definitely worth the try–

I tried the Yellow Curry, my husband had the Pad Thai, both of us had a 4/10 spice level. Flavors of the Pad Thai were better than my Yellow Curry, but both were tasty. Price was reasonable at $26. The location is conveniently located near our house, and the drive-thru pick-up window was a plus. Will return and recommend others give it a try 🙂

My culinary journey at Pim’s Thai Catering & Take Out in Omaha, NE was a delightful revelation that began with serendipity during Taste of Omaha. With hunger gnawing at my stomach, I stumbled upon Pim’s, the nearest haven, and little did I know that this encounter would lead to an extraordinary gastronomic experience.

The menu offered a familiar favorite, pad thai, and a curious-sounding “crispy chicken.” Fueled by a mixture of curiosity and hangriness, we ordered one of each and eagerly sat down to indulge. My anticipation was for a standard Thai affair, always enjoyable, but the flavor explosion that followed with the crispy chicken left me utterly astounded.

Each bite of the crispy chicken was a knockout punch of flavor – succulent, perfectly cooked chicken breast in an exquisite plum sauce. These bite-sized marvels, served alongside impeccably prepared white rice, transcended my expectations. Admittedly, I’ve never been one to opt for plain white steamed rice, but the rice at Pim’s was a revelation. Its impeccable seasoning showcased the remarkable potential of this seemingly simple dish.

My fondness for the crispy chicken ran so deep that I couldn’t resist ordering another round. Imagine my joy when I discovered that Pim’s mortar location, which exclusively offers carryout, was conveniently located in my neighborhood. I wasted no time in introducing my family to this hidden gem, and the crispy chicken continued to impress, leaving no palate untouched.

Their crab rangoons, generously filled with velvety cream cheese, were a delightful appetizer, and the pad thai, a traditional favorite, was executed to perfection. With every dish we sampled, Pim’s commitment to impeccable flavor and quality was evident.

In the world of Thai cuisine, Pim’s Thai Catering & Take Out is an oasis of taste and authenticity. From the captivating crispy chicken to the expertly prepared classics, every dish is an ode to culinary finesse. My recent experience with family affirmed that Pim’s consistently delivers excellence. This is a place where flavors dance, and every bite is a harmonious symphony of taste. Pim’s Thai Catering & Take Out is undoubtedly a culinary destination that I wholeheartedly recommend the next time you are craving Thai.

Ate at their food truck at the last night. Spent $36 dollars (restaurant prices) for a 2 small portion of pad thai and some dumplings.

The only flavor was the lime juice I squeezed on top. My shrimp were not cooked with the pad thai, (they were unseasoned), and the pad thai was mushy, so not fresh.

Basically I got cafeteria style served. Scoop of pad Thai with a scoop of protein. At best worth $5.

If I’m paying $36s, it should be fresh, I should get a drink, and be served at a table before you even begin to think about asking for tips.

If you’re running a food truck, lower your prices, because you’re obviously lowering your quality.

Save your money, go to a real a Thai restaurant

Food truck came to our Farmers Market. Sad to report it was the most disappointing Thai food I have ever eaten. Spring rolls were extremely greasy and unappetizing. Boring Pad Thai lacked any flavor. Soggy boba that was not fresh, and the Thai tea didn’t taste right either as it seemed very watered down. I will spend our hard earned money elsewhere.
