Second visit in 9 years and it was good to be back! Enjoyed the pulled pork and their house chips. Wasn’t a fan of the spicy mac and cheese. I always liked how they have handouts of the Fish Fables. It’s a fun read! Our waitress Julie did a phenomenal job. She bussed, served, and checked out customers. She was very kind and welcoming. Thanks for the exceptional service during what seemed to be a very busy day.

Very busy spot. The servers were ran off their feet but did such a great job and were super attentive and nice!
The deep fried pickles hit the spot – massive portion. However, maybe cause it was the end of the day, I feel the BBQ didn’t quite live up to what I was expecting. Pulled pork was probably the best of the selection we had.
Vibes of the place – immaculate. Very roadside BBQ , without it feeling like a chain. Would come back maybe earlier in the day.

Always taking a chance trying BBQ in places other than Texas, KC and the Carolina’s, but this place did not let us down. I had the two meat plate with a 1/4 rack of ribs, coleslaw slaw and Mac n Cheese. The brisket was juicy and full of flavor, smoked turkey was awesome and ribs fell off the bone! The coleslaw was great and the mac n cheese was so cheesy! Service was great and the weather outside on the patio made it the perfect stop!

Could we have been ANY happier with our experience yesterday? Don’t think so. The gentleman who served us, I believe his name was Wes..? was beyond wonderful…
It’s a small place but he was a one man show. He was serving all the tables and getting drinks … he explained that there’s a group of 15 coming in any minute … this guy ran his ass off and even though things may have been a bit delayed (and honestly it wasn’t even that bad), he made sure everyone was taken care of and was extremely pleasant.

And then there’s the food …. Omg that brisket was by FAR the best I’ve ever had (don’t tell my husband- and he makes a pretty damn good brisket ) . And hubby thought the ribs were next level.
I had the southwest salad with brisket and it was just fantastic. The extra special touch to the salad was the spicy pickled onions. Little things like that make an ordinary thing so much better!
I can’t believe we’ve been coming to Whitefish for so many years and haven’t visited this place yet. This will be a must-do every time now.

Great BBQ place! Honesty the sauce was my favorite park, more in the vinagery smokey side than thick or sweet! Meet was very flavorful, on the dryer and smokier side but still delicious. Sides were also very tasty, baked beans were my favorite. The 4 person plate was plenty of food for 4 large dudes!

We had a wonderful, delicious meal! Fun vibe. The food was incredible and the service was super friendly! We loved everything we tried. It was insanely good barbecue! Highly recommend the pork sliders, brisket nachos and the brisket chili! We walked in and got seated right away.

Great BBQ restaurant in Whitefish! Definitely would come back. The food was spectacular. The brisket was excellent and the smoked turkey was surprisingly flavorful and moist (no dry turkey!). Sides were also delicious and full of flavor. Priced well for a three-meat platter and definitely worth it given the flavors. Wes was excellent and provided great service.

Traveling for work, a local suggested the spot for lunch, and I am so glad he did! It was amazing, the spicey relish was great, the pull pork was awesome. The server super kind, attentive, and very friendly and helpful.

It was so good I even got another to go meal for dinner to bring back to me to my hotel.

I debated between 4 and 5 stars. We shared a 2 meat platter and had enough for the 2 of us to eat, but we aren’t big eaters. The brisket was excellent. The pulled pork was dry but had a good flavor. Also, I prefer dry to overly fatty. The mac and cheese was good. I can’t remember our 2nd side.
The service was friendly but very slow. The restroom was clean, but the metal pig in my picture in there startled me when I first walked in and almost tripped on it.
I liked the overall atmosphere, but the door to the patio area was propped open, and we had to fight off flies and a bee during dinner. Insects were the primary reason we decided to sit inside.
One final note, Google Maps did not tell us to turn o to the street where the parking lot is. Luckily, we noticed this and turned there any way.
