Had lunch here today. The BBQ was delish and and I was very pleased with their sauces. Not too spicy hot. Just right. People working were very friendly and knowledgeable. I asked a dozen questions and the girl at the counter answered then all and was very patient with me as this was my first visit. The restaurant was impeccably clean. Just FYI the entrance is on the side of building not the front. I will definitely add Pigs & Vittles to my lunch rotation.

Wow…stopped here and picked up some bbq sandwiches and oh so glad I did! Their bbq is delicious! And they stuffed that bun full! She also gave me 2 kinds of sauce…one is vinegary and the other was a sweet molasses…and I loved both! The creamy coleslaw was excellent too. Didn’t even care when I dropped sauce on my linen pants!

I own Tuscan Ridge Wedding Venue in Oakboro and this company just catered a wedding there last weekend. I was very pleased with every aspect. The food was great, the staff and owner Matt was very friendly and easy to talk to, kitchen was kept very clean and bride and groom were very happy with everything. I will definitely be recommending this company to others because I would love to have them back at the venue anytime!

I actually ate ate the location in downtown Pageland. Simply put, if you live or pass by within 50 miles of either location, it is a must try. I drive a truck all over the country so I get to experience a lot.
BBQ was tender, without too much seasoning, letting you choose how to take it with their 3 choices of sauces( vinegar, mustard, and a sweet based).
Brunswick stew- now I’m usually not a big fan. This was life changing. Again not a lot of seasoning allowing you to taste the medley and the individual pieces.
Now don’t PIG out completely. Their best item is their handmade Banana Pudding. After 28 years I have finally found a banana pudding better than my Grandfather’s.
Staff is sweet southern. Clean facilities.
All in all a home run for these guys.

Definitely a hidden gem in the restaurants in Monroe. The pulled pork goes very well with either of the two sauces that they make from scratch. The banana pudding can be bought in bulk to keep at home for dessert! I recommend eating indoors, the atmosphere is great for a lunch or dinner with friends.

The food is tasty but even after a year of operating, they can’t get their production right. This was my 2nd time using them for catering in a year. The first time one of the things I ordered was shredded chicken bbq and I got a tray of whole chicken pieces. I went in to eat a couple weeks ago and order catering again and was told that they do not ever nor have they ever done whole chicken pieces? Ordered again – shredded chicken BBQ, once again the food arrived and it was whole chicken thighs. I spent an hour ignoring my guests and chopping it myself so they could make sandwiches. If I was going to cook instead of enjoying the party, I would have just made it myself.

The food was below my expectations. From the pictures it looks like real smoked BBQ but when I got the chicken and pulled pork home the chicken went in the trash and the pork was ok. I wouldn’t go back sorry. However, the servers were very nice and offered me soles of other things that i did not purchase, and it was ok.

Friendly people. Great BBQ. Best fries in town, hands down! Affordable. I wish there were more sauces to try, but other than that it’s my favorite right now.
