First time trying this place and we were blown away. Not only was our server, Carson, super nice and welcoming an hour before closing, but the food was also amazing. We ordered a NY pizza with half-and-half toppings for the kids, a white sauce pesto, and white sauce garlic pizza. The food was light, piping hot, and delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

NY style cheese slice was amazing. Crispy, salty, that cheesy tang, perfect blend. And it was the slice so it had been out and they reheated it. Incredible. I can only imagine what the full pie must taste like straight out of the oven. Highly recommend!

Also had the margherita with burrata. It was also really good but watery bc of all the burrata. So it lacked the crispness of the NY slice, but the outer crust was still good.

Nice neapolitan pizza. Let down by poor quality burrata. Lovely staff. Had margarita, fungi, and diavolo. Salad was good too. Might go back.

Food Quality: 4.6/5
The food is excellent and consistently delivered. I visited twice during my trip to California—once on my first day and again on my last—which says a lot on its own. I highly recommend ordering the pizza well done. It comes out with great texture and flavor and is clearly the highlight here.

Service: 3.6/5
The owner is fantastic—very funny, engaging, and clearly passionate about the business. That enthusiasm, however, doesn’t always translate to the rest of the staff. Many of the employees appear to be high school or college-aged and don’t show the same level of care or urgency as the owner, which impacts consistency. My second experience I was waiting for my drinks until after we had finished our dinner trying to flag someone down was pretty hard.

Cleanliness: 4.3/5
The restaurant was clean and well-kept on both visits, with no noticeable issues.

Atmosphere: 4.0/5
Casual and laid-back. The atmosphere reflects a neighborhood pizzeria, and while it’s comfortable, it’s the food and the owner’s personality that stand out more than the setting itself. I really like the woodfired pizza oven in the kitchen. It definitely adds to the atmosphere.

Value for Money: 4.2/5
For the quality of the food, the pricing is fair. While the service can be hit or miss, the food quality makes it worth the stop. If the owner could find a way to keep the service more consistent, it would be a 4.8+.

Pretty little locals restaurant. Good for a casual date spot, or hanging with friends. A little loud inside and a little too casual for a nice date. Great pizza crust. They serve it piping hot on a plate which does allow it to go soggy fairly quickly. Pizzas seem fairly priced for the type of restaurant but I wish they’d sell the burrata/trio plate with the rosemary bread for a reasonable price. They just go together and it costs $26 to order them separately $$$. The souffle dessert was tasty but more of a caramel molten cake then a true souffle. I felt everything could have used a little more salt. Service was fairly quick and everything came out correct, my only critique was my water sat empty too long, but I think our server went on break mid meal, so I didn’t hold it against her.

Was skeptical of the high reviews, but tried it and understood it was deserved. Handmade pizza was delicious, burrata was great, the basil was really aromatic and fresh. Personal highlight was the meatball sub, texture was spot on, bread was crispy but soft enough to bite through, sauce was simple and basil goes hard. Staff had a hard time accommodating but understandable seeing how busy it was (even on a Wednesday night).

Grab a seat at the bar by the pizza oven and watch them make your pizza! Had the 12″ Neopolitan style Carne Festa. Perfect to share. Wife had the Tuscan Trio app and wolfed it down like it was caviar.

The kids meal deal is fantastic (looks like not updated). It is $8 (or was it $7?) for slice of pizza (cheese or pepporoni) or one more choice… can’t remember! And they get a drink and a tiny toy.

$7 house blonde beers!

Service can be a little slow with it being busy, but otherwise is good.

I recently visited Pietrini, and unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. The food was good, but nothing extraordinary to rave about. What truly soured the experience was the service.

When we walked in to place a takeout order, we were completely ignored by two employees who were standing at the counter. After placing the order, we waited about 40 minutes for our pizza. When we finally received our pizza, it wasn’t hot, which suggested they had forgotten about it.

To make matters worse, when we had tried to get an update on the order, we were once again ignored by the same two employees. As two Hispanics in a predominantly different demographic, it was hard not to feel like the lack of attention was intentional.

While the pizza itself was fine, the service was horrendous, and I’m not sure I’ll be returning anytime soon. There are far better places with both good food and respect for their customers.

Absolutely fantastic pizza! Very clean high quality ingredients. You can absolutely taste the difference than most pizza you’ll have. I had a blood orange Italian soda and the carne festa pizza. Substitute the evoo drizzle for Calabrian chili oil instead. It was outstanding. I will need to try a few more simple pies next time because the dough alone is outstanding. I can suggest this place enough. Was super busy about one hour before closing on a Saturday night, with good reason. Looks to have a good selection of beer and wine as well.
