Staff were friendly. Lots of fresh seafood options which is great right by the sea. We got the seafood platter for two thinking we would get the dressed crab but were pleasantly surprised when the staff offered to do a lobster instead of the crab. Oysters were really good, so was the prawn tempura and the prawns, scallops were excellent as were the mussels. The only thing we would improve would be the lobster, a hot lobster is always better than a cold one. Would definitely recommend! Seafood platter was more than enough for 2!

We were welcomed by a fresh and generous seafood platter, beautifully presented on ice. From oysters and prawns to crab and scallops, every bite tasted of the sea. The sauces and dressings added the perfect touch, making the whole experience even more delightful.
It was the perfect way to end a summer’s day by the water — delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, and wonderful family moments. Highly recommended for seafood lovers!

We visited this restaurant for lunch on a Monday in term time. The restaurant was not too busy, so they had space indoors for the two of us plus a buggy.
We were served by Alison, who was attentive, efficient and friendly. The food was spectacular. Fresh oysters, local catches and all beautifully presented. My husband had some local plaice which he thoroughly enjoyed. The whole fish options come in various sizes too, to cater to all appetites.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back.

There’s so many options in swanage, being here for one night we felt like a fancier seafood option was necessary.
Probably the best seafood experience I’ve ever had in England. The prices felt reasonable, portions were great. The scallops are wonderful. No secret service charge. Incredible all around, thank you so much.

Three of us had a great meal in here. The crab mains were very generous, fries, salad and brown bread were most enjoyable. Service was excellent and there was a good atmosphere in the place. We would definitely recommend.

Lovely restaurant, excellent friendly staff. I ordered an open smoked salmon sandwich. It was very well presented, really lovely smoked salmon, and salad, sadly the crisps served alongside weren’t the best, and the slice of bread was nothing special, quite hard and stale to be honest. Not as I’d expected.

Had a lovely experience at this restaurant, sitting outside looking at the sea views. The food was excellent, and the staff wonderful and kind (even providing blankets when it got a bit chillier). Would recommend visiting if you’re in the area!
