My experience at this establishment was pretty good. It isn’t a fancy place, but I was served some delicious food. They could use a few more servers, but the ones working last night were always busy and helping customers. Our server was friendly and helpful and brought us what we asked for in a timely fashion. We started with the calamari which was pretty good, loved the crispy batter it was fried in. For my main meal, I ordered the seafood boil with 1/2 lb snow crab, 1/2 lb shrimp, and 1/2 lb sausage, 1 corn, 1 potato, and 1 egg. I got it mild with the garlic butter. It was a lot of food and so delicious. I will definitely return.

The hostess/waitress threw our menus on the table, then we asked for a highchair she slammed that in front of the table! Waited over 10 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink. Got our food I wanted non spicy yes the receipt said non spicy, but my face was burning! But when another set of customers came and got seated she was polite asked them what she could get for them asked them if they would like some appetizers, what they would like to drink etc completely different attitude! I’ll never go their again!!

Our server was very kind and helpful. He is the only reason I am giving 3 stars. The owner who also cooks the food sent out cold food to our table after we waited nearly an hour. The restaurant is understaffed, with only 2 servers and one person seating tables, bussing tables, and managing to go orders. The owner/cook refused to fix the food that he sent out cold. Will not be back.

The first time I came an hour before close and called 8 times and couldn’t get an answer so I had to order and wait inside. I decided to try it again tonight and again over a hour before close I called 6 times and couldn’t get an answer so I drove 37 minutes out to come order in person. The man who came to help me at the front stated they had no host and still took my order , but when he went to the back to turn it in he said he chef had already left for the night ( it was 10:30 , 30 minutes before close) and there was nothing he could do. As we were talking the chef walked back in the front door and said “ no more “ meaning they weren’t taking anymore orders. Not only did I drive almost 40 minutes, but I’m pregnant, high risk and very sickly I just walked out disappointed and crying. This is unacceptable especially from someone who has been a kitchen manager for 3 years and now works for the government and customer service is a MUST!!!

Our first time here and although the food was good but the service was beyond terrible. Our server, Josh made us wait 10 minutes to ask what we wanted to drink and 20 minutes to order food. He had a negative attitude and never came by to check on us until it was time to go.

We were very impressed. The mozzarella sticks were great for an appetizer and the crab & shrimp boil was just as amazing! We will definitely be returning. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday afternoon which I hate to see but it is just a sign of the times! Overall 5+ star for sure. Thank you for a fantastic meal!

Very disappointing and discriminatory experience on February 14 around 5:25 p.m. The host was extremely rude and allowed people who arrived later to skip the line and get on the waitlist.
When we questioned it, he became hostile. As we were leaving, he told us this place “did not belong to us” and that we should go to the SW. It is widely known that area has a large Hispanic community, so the comment felt clearly discriminatory. When I asked him to repeat what he said, he told me to get out and not come back.
This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. Thankfully, we went to Prime Steakhouse, where we were treated with the respect every customer deserves.

I would like to start and say this has been really disappointing. On October 22 I placed an online order for pick up. I ordered from the pier 88 website. I ordered the Royal shrimp combo with extra potatoes and eggs so the total for one meal was $60! I picked it up from the Britton location. I checked the receipt and it looked all correct. I drove home 30 minutes! When I got home so excited to eat my food I was met with disappointment. Once the bag was open it was clearly wrong. Not the royal shrimp combo at all but a whole pound of sausage and maybe a half pound of shrimp. Clearly not our $60 order. I immediately call the Britton location to ask for a refund. The guy on the phone said he was
getting the manager and then hung up on me. I call back again and all I hear is chaos and they hung up again. I call back a third time and the boy said he will tell the manager and I’ll get a call back. I wait one day and call back the next practically had to beg for a manager. Josh is who took my information he told me he will contact the general manager at the I240 location Margret and I should expect a call back from her. Lo and behold I never got a call back. I spent days calling asking if I could talk to Margret and every time they said she was busy waiting tables. But as this is important I was upset she wasn’t giving us the time. Mine you its Halloween at this point. I call the I 240 location and finally get her on the phone. I have to explain the situation again to her because Josh at the other location never shared my info. Margret said she will have to contact her boss and that she would contact me in a couple of days. Wouldn’t you believe I haven’t got any more contact from either location. I have even gone on my online receipt and gone through the online portal to claim my order was wrong. It’s been almost three weeks and I have received a refund or gift card. The Britton location messed up our order and hasn’t taken responsibility the general manager is to busy waiting tables to resolve our issue. In the time we are in now $60 is a lot of money on one meal and what we received was not worth our money. It’s a shame that pier 88 won’t take accountability or give us a refund when we have been in constant contact as soon as it was wrong

Location would be 5 star if they would just clean the place up, from the parking lot to the windows and napkin dispensers on the tables, very messy and not been cleaned in a while.
Food was great fried oysters were a bit off though, service was perfect. Come on people, take some pride in your business and clean up the place. First impressions come from cleanliness where a person is going to pay money to eat at. I will not pay pictures of the areas in need of attention, it should be obvious…

There is an interesting vibe when you walk in and don’t see any wait staff present and several of the tables need to be bussed. I shouldn’t have went to the bathroom before I ate because the bathroom was FILTHY. Now I’m not talking about things like paper towels on the floor or needing mopped, I’m talking all the way up the side of the tile it looked like it’s never been cleaned at all since the day they opened. Like ever! Crud all over the sink and on the faucets. I didn’t take my phone with me or I would’ve taken pictures. It’s been a week since I’ve been there and I haven’t gotten sick from the shrimp so that’s good. It really was good shrimp and my husband really enjoyed his fried fish and chicken but I’m conflicted on wether I want to return.
