Pier 6 Seafood & Steaks

Just had my first and LAST experience with Pier 6 Seafood & Steak House. Living in Macclenny there’s not a multitude of choices when getting a nice dinner. I decided to get my kids and I a nice dinner for a Friday night and ordered through DoorDash. Firstly the shrimp I paid an extra $8 for as a topping to my steak was missing. Luckily DoorDash refunded that, but of course they couldn’t do anything about the inconvenience of missing a big part of your meal. The meal listed “sweet potato” as a side and showed an actual sweet potato. What I got was a small cup of mashed sweet potato, the kind they put sides of dressing in. Same with their side of Mac n cheese. Quite small for sides. The 8oz steak had about 3 good pieces and the rest was all fat. So that was a disappointing $30 meal. I got unsweet teas for all three of my kids’ meals because they can’t have sugar. All three teas were sweet. So I had to make them tea at home so they weren’t disappointed. I spent over $100 on this Friday night, supposed to be NICE meal, and entirely wasted that immense amount of money. Last time I’ll be getting a nice meal take out in Macclenny; they’ve really got the WORST service here and horrendous prices. Do yourself a favor and avoid this local restaurant.

Delta Heart

Went in a hungry family of four, came out with 4 full tummies and a new favorite spot! Love the staff, very respectful and helpful. The layout and colors of the restaurant make it very cozy and happy feeling. Last but absolutely not least- the food was amazing all around, no matter what was ordered! Thank you guys for providing such a great evening with my family, we will definitely be back!

We went there for Father’s Day lunch and were quite happy with our choice to do so. The waitstaff were super friendly and always available even though it was a pack house. If you’re looking for a good ole mom and pop type atmosphere with good food and plentiful amounts this was the place. Everything was super fresh and for the amount of food you received the prices were very reasonable. The only minus I could think of was the hot sauce at our table was turning kind of brownish color and tasted old my recommendation to them would be to replace all of their hot sauces with fresh bottles.

We had dinner here while traveling through Florida. The food was awesome! Fried shrimp, fried clam strips, and deviled crab with hush puppies and sides. My husband had the same except fried scallops in place of the crab. Just like dining at a mom and pop place. Will definitely remember this place and stop again!

We had a remembrance gathering at Pier 6 Seafood and Steaks in Macclenny Fl. in their private banquet room and I couldn’t have been happier with manager Heather and her complete staff. They were so helpful from the moment I contacted them. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. This local business is truly devoted to customer excellence.

Clean decor and good service. Only negative encountered was having to send the popcorn shrimp back to cook for a little while longer, get it properly crispy.

It sometimes gets loud around lunch time, especially on Sundays. The food is always great. There’s sometimes a wait depending on how busy it is. This can be from 30 minutes up to an hour. The service is always polite and cheerful.

The gator bites were awesome. The shrimp and scallops were very disappointing. Swimming in watery butter. Overcooked and tiny.
Like salad size. Not good.
Fries no good. Fried corn had no flavor and soggy The fried oysters were the best. I might go back for ftried oysters and gator tho.

I gave 1 star because I cldnt give zero!!! My family and I ate here for the 2nd time yesterday. The 1st trip was amazing!!!! This trip not so much… They did seem short staffed and the hostess took our order. Fine no big deal. Get our appetizers the gator tail was so salty, I couldn’t eat it. The main courses came out and the fish was so overcooked that it was almost like jerky. I didn’t say anything because everyone has an off day sometimes… But no I go to eat my leftovers for dinner today, since the Po’man’s platter is just too much for one person especially when we had appetizers, there is a hair partially breaded and fried in one of the clam strips!!!! That did me in!!!! Service was very slow (again I get it everyone is short staffed these days) + bad meal (I’ve had better food at captain D’s) + hair in mine = we will never go back!!!!!!!!!
I would have taken pics of the fish but I fed it to my dogs before I found the hair and decided to make this post!!!
