This is a jewel of a fishcamp. A fishcamp by nature is not overly fancy. It’s simple, clean, and this one has repeat customers, after a few visits you may see the same familiar faces.

The salad bar is consistently excellent.
I enjoy fried perch, it’s lightly battered and not overcooked, retaining moisture and flavor.

I have lived in South Carolina for many years and this is the first time I’ve checked out the Pier 51 seafood restaurant. It was pretty good and had a nice salad bar with fresh vegetables. The hush puppies were delicious. I was just in the mood for some wings. So they do have other things on the menu besides seafood. The wait staff was friendly and we were able to get a seat right away.

It was our first time here but won’t be our last! The salad bar (included with the entree!) was full, and the produce were fresh. The food was delicious, served hot, by a very friendly waitress, and all at a very reasonable price. 10/10, will definitely be back!

This is my first time eating at Pier 51 with my family. My daughter recommended this restaurant since every time she drove by the place the parking lot was always full. I would recommend this seafood restaurant and I know about souther goodness called fish camps; where the tea and hushpuppy have cane sugar in them. Thumps up to the broil whole flounder.

Our first time here and we were so pleased with the experience. I first thought we were going to have to wait for seating, there was so many cars in the lot. The place is huge and we were seated straight away. While ordering off the menu, hush puppies were brought. There is also a salad bar and from what I saw, it is all you can eat, but even though I ordered broiled fish off the senior menue, there was no way that I could eat another bite. The fish was made perfectly and there was plenty of it. Priced very reasonable. We are definitely going back.

Every time I go to Pier 51 excellent service, friendly people, and great food. They always have the best salad bar is always fresh and well stock where you’re not running out of items. I recommend trying Pier 51 you definitely will be glad you did.

It’s been so long since I’ve had an experience this great while eating out that I can’t remember the last.
The a.c was out, so it did start to get hot after eating half of my hot food.
However, the food was phenomenal, in my opinion. I got the same pleasure with each bite as if I were having intercourse. I’d drive 40 minutes to eat here again. I wouldn’t drive that far for a hookup.
The price was great for the portion and quality.
