I stopped in for a quick snack and a couple of cold beers. I had the crab cakes with fennel slow and Granny Smith apples and the cilantro aioli. The aioli could have used a little more cilantro it was garlic heavy but it was good. The crab cakes had a little more breading holding them together than I care for but they had extremely good flavor. As far as the oysters who can screw up an oyster! They were large briny and the cocktail sauce had extra horseradish added to it for amazing flavor.

We came for our first time for Valentine’s Day dinner. If you’re thinking about going, DO! It was amazing. We started off with the Twin Crab Cakes, I got the Stuffed Salmon and my husband got the Black Pepper Tuna. Both were fantastic. We also got the Risotto as a side, also great. We finished with the Banana Bread Pudding which was also so yummy! The atmosphere is laid back but nice and the overall experience was wonderful. We can’t wait to come back!

I went to Pier 48 after it was recommended by a co-worker and I was not disappointed. I sat at the bar and the bartenders were very attentive to me and my needs and also helped me decide which appetizer to go with.

Great seafood spot in the downtown area. This spot has a large dinning room area, large corner street outdoor patio area and decent size bar.

I’ll go again, it was located in the Hyatt Place where I stayed. It was pricey but the atmosphere was great and the food was good. It was a convenient place being right there at the hotel. I had the Chicken Piccata. My husband had the Stuffed Lobster Roll.

Seated at a table where all the staff walked by every second and light was too bright.

Tried this place for the first and last time. They didn’t know how to make a strawberry margarita, the calamari was very tough, my steak tasted like burnt char with a hit of chemicals. My wife’s stuffed salmon was okay, but the mashed potatoes and vegetables tasted like hospital food. The service was lacking, and I never got the clam chower I ordered. After spending $147 I had to stop at Rallys for food because I left hungry. It was not a good experience

This was a wonderful experience. We went to Pier 48 Fish House for our anniversary. We went during their Devour Indy, so we enjoyed their special menu. All of the food was delicious and the service was terrific.I had a the wedge salad, chicken patata, and cheesecake. The servings were all a large portion and were wonderful. The wedge salad was almost my favorite covered in Bleu cheese crumbles, bacon, tomatoes, and balsamic. We will definitely visit this location again. I am not really a fan of seafood, so I was ecstatic to see some food options that I would enjoy just as much as my seafood loving husband.

Good choice downtown for seafood for sure. The food is somewhat hit or miss though. I’d say more hit than miss though. The Scallop Dish is probably my favorite, Lobster Nachos are solid, and the truffle fries are excellent. The Filet was pretty good for Seafood Joint. I’d stay away from sandwiches and fried fish, crab cakes weren’t great either. Based on the food I’d give this place a four, however the service was not great, drinks on the menu that aren’t available, entrees didn’t come out at the same time. It was definitely the service that made this a 3/5 for me, not the food. Really nice bar area too.

Hosted my birthday/retirement party at this restaurant. We compared them to three other places and for what we got and the price for the sevice, they are by far the best choice. We rented a private room and was able to decorate it and it accommodated 34 guests! We had a buffet with two appetizers , three main courses, two sides and two desserts. Everyone that was at the party said they really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. No regrets picking this place for our celebration event!
