For a new restaurant and being open for only a bit I give 5 stars with still room for improvements.
To start, the menu lists beer, which they do not have yet. It is byob for now I was told which I wish was listed on the door before coming in. We would have quickly gone and got our own bottle.
We got the fried calamari with Cajun fries. They don’t have a sauce for it which was odd, when asked they gave us a spicy mustard and ketchup. I think some type of tartar sauce should be included.
We also got the 10 piece wings with the honey old bay sauce. Which was a chefs kiss! So flavorful and amazing!
Next on the list of ordering we got the clam chowder. Which was good, I love me some clam chowder!
Last was the combo 1 with the headless shrimp and muscles. We got this with the pier 18 sauce mild. I will say with this the shrimp needed to be washed a bit more, they still tasted a little fishy and gritty. The corn was alright it seemed to have been from frozen and didn’t have a fresh cooked corn crunch. The muscles were huge and delicious!! The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the sausage had a nice smokey flavor! I will say I wish there was more sausage. When I read slices I thought like sliced chunks of the kielbasa style sausage, not a legit slice.
Overall this was a good experience! 5 out of 5 with room for improvement! Hope when I come back later, it will be even better!

Nice portions, good food, and good prices. With so many Cajun spots in the area, this one wins my vote for a quick bite when I’m in the mood. We tried the fried calamari basket (it was good), lobster roll (it was ok), and fried rice (it was amazing). My son said the Po boy was pretty good. Their fries are seasoned very well.

We stopped by tonight to try something new for date night. My husband absolutely loved the cajun fries we picked as an appetizer. For our meals we ordered a philly cheesesteak, a lobster roll and a combo (snow crab, headless shrimp, sausage.) The Pier 18 sauce in medium heat was delicious and everything was perfectly cooked. Our server was super sweet and friendly. We will definitely have to return and try some more things from the menu.

Decided to stop in and try it out! The food was okay. I ordered garlic noodles and calamari. The seafood was a bit overcooked and the garlic noodles are what you would expect.
I will go back and try a seafood boil combo. They have the cutest robot server named Lucy! Innovation at its best.

Pier 18 Cajun Seafood Grill in Mansfield, Texas was excellent. I had the street shrimp boil, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly—tender, flavorful, and very easy to peel. You can tell they know how to handle seafood.
The gumbo was a true Creole-style gumbo with plenty of vegetables. It wasn’t overloaded with meat, but the flavor was deep, well-seasoned, and balanced, letting the spices and roux shine through.
Overall, great food, solid execution, and definitely a spot I’d come back to for Cajun seafood done right.

With the freezing weather, my family was craving warm and delicious seafood. Pier 18 was a home run! We all had different combos where I was able to try snowcrab, king crab, clams, crawfish, shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes. Everything was good, that we had to order some wings to go! We will definitely be coming back!

Let me begin by saying… the manager was extremely rude and unapologetic. (Background info)… We went to the restaurant on Saturday, September 6th, for a 16th Birthday Celebration… We had about 30 people in our party, which was broken down into two separate table groups of fifteen. Both table groups had two different waitresses. The table group that I was a part of ordered first. Throughout the ordering process, our waitress was unfamiliar with what was on the menu or what beverages were available. After ordering, we waited an extended period of time to receive our food. Once the food was received, many items, as previously mentioned in a review, were missing (i.e. salad, noodles, & extra potatoes). We also had one person in our party to order a #2 combo and it came out without the potatoes or sausages. Even after informing the waitress twice, the items were never brought out. We had to remind the waitress about the noodles and salad. The noodles eventually came out but the salad was delivered after we were almost done eating our meal. At the time our order was placed, the waitress was informed how the tickets were going to be split. We discovered, after we requested our tickets that everything was mixed up. The two waitresses and the manager had to redo our tickets four different times due to human and technical errors. It took our table over forty five minutes just to get checked out. The other table group placed their order last but received their food and ticket before us. The second table group was long gone while we were still sitting in the restaurant waiting for our tickets. I eventually asked if we could just go up to the counter to pay for our food. While at the counter, the manager had a super bad attitude. He didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience until I brought it to his attention, the inappropriateness of his tone, attitude, and response. It wasn’t until then that he apologized which came with an “I apologize but…” He was too busy trying to explain why it happened which really wasn’t of my concern. That night my family spent a lot of money at this establishment. My ticket alone was $83.19. At no point during our conversation, did he offer any type of rectification for our inconvenience or missing items. I even had to tell them to remove the salad from our ticket that was received at the end of our meal.
I do know the person that we were dealing with was the manager but I also believe he may have been the owner as well. The management of Pier 18 has to do better when serving our people and getting our money. Although parts of our food items were good, it was not good enough for me to return to this type of service or disrespect from management.
Items on my ticket:
Calamari basket – was good
Catfish basket (Swai catfish) – was not good due to the fishy taste
Combo #2 was good, but the mild flavor is hot, not mild (more so along the line of medium heat).
My friend’s ticket:
The Lemon pepper Fries were really good
Garlic noodles not too good
Salad (well you know about that!)
I hope this review helps in your decision of whether or not to visit this restaurant.
Again, Pure 18 management has to do better… better attitude and more training.

Food was amazing and came quick. Seasoned to perfection customer service was great. We got a seafood bag, which was great the honey old bay wings, which was delicious. We got the baked oysters. They were very good as well too. The only thing that I didn’t like they don’t have a liquor license, but they did have other little beverages that did the trick I will be going back really enjoyed this place

Just tried Pier 18 for the first time and it was amazing! The seafood boil was super fresh, packed with flavor, and perfectly cooked. I also had the teriyaki beef — everything was hot, well-seasoned, and delicious. Great portions, fast service, and clean packaging. Definitely coming back! Highly recommend!

I knew we would be passing this way on our trip to see family. This area has good food, so at my gf request I looked up Cajun. I found this restaurant on TikTok, and they weren’t lying. It’s good! The calamari, perfect. Shrimp and crawfish boil, perfect. Everything in the boil including the corn, cooked to the perfect texture. Nothing over done or under cooked. And I felt like the prices beat inflation. Tip: get the Pier 18 sauce for your seafood boil and dip everything else you ordered in that Pier 18 sauce.
