I did not done in the last time just placed an order. Food was delicious. Today I dined in and the chips amd salsa are excellent. I ordered the fish(2) and shrimp(4) & oh my Lord. Great flavors. I highly recommend it and the fresh lemonade. I will return again and try a different plate. Inhighly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in San Antonio.

Walking or smells like food and cleanliness. Have seat and receive service right away. The pictures on here do not do this foods justice. If you could see the flavor in a picture you would already be here. Don’t hesitate like me. I could eat here everyday

Piedras Negras De Noche has been my favorite Mexican restaurant in San Antonio for years—honestly, I think it’s the best in the city. I’ve been coming here since before their original location burned down in 2008, and even though the spot has changed, the food is still just as amazing.

The enchiladas are my go-to, but if you’re in the mood to splurge a little, get the fajitas. Trust me—when your server walks by with that sizzling plate, heads will turn. The smell alone is enough to make the whole room jealous. This place is absolutely worth checking out!

I grew up eating at Piedras Negras De Noche almost every weekend as a kid growing up. We would go to Piedras Negras Cafe when it was by the train tracks, then we would have dinner at Piedras Negras De Noche some evenings. I had not been back in years until last week. My wife had a bad experience years ago and refuses to eat there with me. We went with about 40 family members after my Aunt Sarah’s funeral on Jan 9th. It was her favorite restaurant. My food was good, but they were super busy, and it took a while to get our food. It was in the middle of the lunch rush, so I’m sure they were not expecting such a large crowd on that particular day. My fajitas tasted like they had been frozen for a while, and my son’s barbacoa smelled fishy, so he didn’t touch it. Everything else I tasted was just like I remembered. The sweet tea, the chips and salsa, the rice and beans, tortillas. I hope I get a chance to go back soon and give them another chance. Everyone else who ate said their food was good.

From the moment we walked in, the customer service was outstanding. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our experience great. They were knowledgeable about the menu, checked in at the right moments, and made us feel valued as guests. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and personal…this place truly delivers.

The food was ok.. not the greatest. How ever, it was 4 of us and hidden in the bill was already added a 10% tip and nothing was mentioned until after I paid with a card. I explained why did the waitress do that when she saw we left her a $10 tip on the table. She would’ve made a $20 tip if i didn’t notice. She knew she did wrong cus she insisted for me to take the $10 back off the table. I sure did! She took long at times to check in on us… and we still left a generous tip. Watch out folks.. they are tipping themselves without confirming with the customers first.

Great portions. Price is cheap, delicious. Home made tortillas (corn and flour) Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to eat menudo. Machacado and steak a la mexicana is what we had for lunch. We definitely planing on coming back. Liliana was our server, she was amazing. Our coffee cup was always above half full.

This was my first time here because of a friend. We were a party of four and it was pretty busy since it was 4rd of July, but it was worth the wait. It’s is a small Mexican restaurant and you can feel the vibe right away. They had live music and the ambiance was cool. It was clean and they got an award for that. The food was good and we got it promptly. The service was really good. My only suggestion is they should update the decor. Mexican culture is full of colors and I couldn’t see them here. Overall it was good so I may go back again.

Customer service terrible. The woman who took my order was rude. All the employees had mean facial expressions as if they didn’t want to be there. I came for a good carne guisada, it was terrible, very bland . There was no gravy on the meat and there was very unnecessary amount of cheese on the taco . I don’t recommend.
