I have visited Pie Five about six times now. It is great every time. Four of those visits had about a 20 minute wait just to order. I would assume it was due to the crowd. They make each pizza right in front of you and offer a decent variety of toppings. My most recent visit was today and I have to admit it was the best!! I ordered the high five meat pizza with stuffed crust and magic dust. It was incredible. The pizza was over cooked, in comparison to my other visits, which made the crust golden brown. However, that is all a compliment! I will definitely be going back!!

Saturday was the reservation only soft opening for Pie Five in Danville. We were greeted by a super friendly employee who handed us a menu and explained the concept to us. They had a special on the personal pizzas today with no limit on toppings! I decided to try one of their signature pizzas, The Athenian, on thin crust and treated myself to a chocolate chip slice as well. If you like thin crust, you are going to love this. It was crisp on the edges and structurally sound enough to support all of the ingredients as well. No floppy pizza here! I highly recommend adding magic dust if you dine in. It’s a blend of cheeses and herbs they keep in shaker bottles on the tables. The desert slice was excellent. It was a chewey chocolate chip cookie slice with a drizzle of chocolate syrup… No picture proof because I was too busy enjoying dessert!
All of the employees were friendly. They seemed to be enjoying themselves, even with the tiny hiccups you’d expect from a soft opening. They rolled with the punches and made sure everyone was taken care of. You’ll be able to order ahead online and earn rewards in their app once they open to the public on Monday (10/25/21).
I will definitely be back when I’m looking for an elevated, fast food, pizza experience.

Waste of money. My pizza was gross. The chicken wasn’t even broken up and spread throughout the pizza. Just a chunk here and there on the pizza. It was not what I thought I would get at all. Next time I will just go to Bricktown Brewery for pizza. It’s fresh there!

What really impressed us though, is the attention to the quality of their food. After waiting for quite a while, which I guess would be normal for four pizzas, they came out and said that one of the pizzas was burned and so they were remaking that one for us.
Honestly we were so not happy about that, but we waited. Several of the staff checked on us through the drive-in window, they even gave us free drinks too, and kept apologizing. What was really neat, they gave us the burnt pizza too on top of the other ones we purchased. To be honest, we liked the other pizzas, but found the burnt one was the best
So definitely would recommend this place for people to go too.

This is a go-to for us when we’re in Danville running errands. The food is excellent and the staff is always really friendly and helpful, especially if I’m there by myself with my kids; bringing our food to the table for me instead of just calling me up for it, bringing extra plates and napkins, checking if we need anything and even slicing my kids’ pizza into extra small slices for them. Very impressed with the service and friendly attitudes every time I’ve been!
