Reviews
The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and polite. The hospitality really stood out and made us feel at home.
Delicious small bite & beautifully prepared dish! We tried the mini yubu sushi, which were fun, flavorful, and perfectly portioned for sharing.
The donburi bowl with seared salmon was so good—fresh, satisfying, and beautifully balanced. We also enjoyed the sweet shrimp & tobiko combination, which tasted very fresh and light.
Everything felt small enough to sample more, yet still filling and satisfying. Wanted to tried 9 yubu sushi. Owner said stop tried 4!! Too much food for beautiful ladies to handle LoL it is true. Honestly, we wanted to try even more items, but our stomachs were already full!
Looking Forward to Trying More Next Time
There are so many items on the menu we’re excited to come back for—especially the specialized sushi selections and the Chef’s Combo Rice Bowl. This is definitely a place worth returning to when you want thoughtful food, a calm atmosphere, and friendly service.
Such a lovely spot for a casual meet-up, a quiet lunch, or foodie exploring. Just a recommendation bigger tables for people who want to order more food and for bigger group size. The only suggestion I would appreciate so I can bring more friends over. Next time I’ll try different drinks. I thought mine was a little bit sweet. With mango and matcha tea.
Highly recommend — we will absolutely be back!
Service was okay I ordered a tea and they said the person that makes the teas went shopping so no tea for me. Also the server didn’t speak English so pointed to my order and they got 7/8 items correct. Still delicious but can be improved upon.
The $17.99 beef and unagi bowl was excessively greasy. The bottom half of the bowl was literally swimming in oil, to the point where the rice was completely inedible. The bowl itself was also very small, with only a few thin slices of beef.
The spam musubi was a joke. Never have I seen a musubi with spam sliced this thin… practically paper-thin. The portion was so disproportionate it was funny-looking.
The most concerning item was the California roll. It had a strong fishy odor, which makes no sense given that it uses imitation crab. This raises serious questions about ingredient handling. I’ve never had a California roll taste unpleasantly fishy before, it was shocking. 【It made me question whether it was spoiled or not.】
The salad was fine. The miso soup was not. The salmon nigiri was mediocre, with very small portions, though that part is at least understandable given the low price.
Overall this was bad value for the money… and the experience left me concerned.
• Freshness: Every piece of sushi was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. They have a great salad and the dressing is perfect as an appetizer. My favorite dish was the seared salmon sushi and shrimp. It was sooooo delicious.
• Creativity: The menu offers innovative combinations and unique flavors.
• Value: Prices are reasonable, especially considering the high-quality ingredients.
I came back to this sushi spot after nearly six months, and I’m so happy to say — it’s even better than I remembered!
They’ve updated their menu and now offer gunkan sushi starting at just $1, $1.50, and $2 — such a fun and affordable way to try different flavors. The quality is still top-notch, and everything is made to order with care.
They also have a daily selection of limited premium items, including:
* Uni (sea urchin) — absolutely next level, rich and creamy, melts in your mouth
* Scallop, jumbo shrimp, wagyu, lobster, surf clam — every piece fresh, thick-cut, and beautifully presented
* Japanese rice bowls and Hawaiian musubi — satisfying and full of flavor
One of the best surprises this time was their new summer drink: the Mango Coconut Oasis — packed with popping boba, super refreshing, and caffeine-free, so even kids can enjoy it. I honestly wish I could bottle it and take it home!
The food came out quickly, the place is still spotless and peaceful, and the owner is as warm and generous as ever — you can really feel the heart behind the food and service.
If you haven’t been in a while, it’s time to revisit — this spot only gets better with time. Whether you’re coming for the value sushi or the premium treats, it’s a win either way.
