Went to this area for the first time and it is very scenic. The restaurant itself is also very spacious and has good aesthetics. We ordered seafood pasta, and it was amazing. We also ordered a red pepper dip which was absolutely worth it. Their shrimp wraps are a little bit bland but all in all the experience was really good and we enjoyed the food a lot. The server was very helpful and made sure that our requests were taken care of. They even took something off the bill because it came out late. Would definitely recommend this place to someone wanting to try a new place.

This was my first time trying this place out and when I say I was highly impressed .The scenery was so beautiful and peaceful ,the menu was outstanding, the manager came out and made sure everyone was doing OK which I loved. As you can see I order a sortment of a thing and I could say the shrimp tacos took the icing it was so delicious. You can also sit on the dock where the fishes are.

The setting is great. We sat at a table right by the lake. The food was good. We ordered the mahi mahi appetizer, which was good but not great. We ordered a side salad to share, which was large and quite good. The balsamic vinaigrette really made it a great tasting salad. For dinner, I got the blackened shrimp tacos, which were excellent. The sauce that came with it was especially good. My friend ordered the quinoa with black beans, corn, and Cauliflower. (Sadly, there was no cauliflower.) It was pretty good, but for the price we expected better. Disappointingly, they were out of beers on tap, too, so I got a bottle of Dortmunder Gold and my friend got a Corona.

What wasn’t good at all was the service. Both tables next to us came after us but got their food before us. When the server finally brought our food, she brought it altogether. We were expecting to get the appetizer and salad before the main meals, but that didn’t happen. Not sure why. Worse, we had no silverware. When the server came back 5 minutes later and asked how the food was, we said we didn’t know because we had no silverware to eat it with. She sort of apologized and went to get some. It was at least another 5 minutes before she came back. By that point our food was getting cold. We still ate it, and it was still tasty, but it would have been better if warmer. Back in the day when I was a waiter, I would have told my manager what a clusterf*ck performance I had given the customers and asked him/her to check in with the table and if necessary make things right. But that didn’t happen. I rarely complain at restaurants, but the fact we didn’t get our food for nearly 35 minutes, and then didn’t get silverware for another 10 is absolutely unacceptable. I would have complained if there had been someone to complain to, but I saw no manager our entire time there (close to 2 hours). With so many other good restaurants in the area, it may be a while before I go back to this place, if ever. Sad, because the restaurant setting is positively lovely (though there are three flights of steps to get down to the lower level, challenging for people with disabilities).

Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Exquisite taste, and sumptuous delight felt in every bite!
It was nice and breezy with a great atmosphere and a good taste of music!
Great service, as well! Always on top of making sure you had a full glass of…well sweet tea for me, but probably something else for most. X)

Ok … Well THIS place is getting by far an excellent review! The manager Charles is a super professional individual! His energy along with Brandon the bartenders, you can feel the moment you walk into the door! They are beautiful people!
We came in late.. me and the worst date ever! This guy took ten minutes to say give words. Omg! So after listening to him talk about himself for ten minutes we finally ordered. Because this goofball picked me up so late the kitchen was going to close.. Chuck came over personally and made me feel so welcomed and not to worry about us coming in late. We got the best risotto and French onion soup!
The martinis are out of this world!! I had the key lime pie martini.. my dates mustache had the same but I didn’t let that ruin a beautiful experience…
I could deal with this guy a little bit longer with the help of the best strawberry basil Martini. It was again made to perfection unfortunately it didn’t tune out Mr wonderful completely.
So this guy invites his friends to come there and meet up. The girl was wasted and so rude to the bartenders. But Brandon and manager Charles kept their cool the whole time. With complete class!
They are having an amazing brunch for moms day!!
Downstairs is a fun place IF and only IF you like country music. Blah! But I had fun anyway.
The scenery is amazing. It’s right on the lake.. so beautiful!! If you’re with someone special it’s so romantic.. if your not, you could quite easily push him over and into the portage lake below.
All joking aside .. it’s a really cool place!

Just a fair statement we did go on a Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and this place has a boat “swim-up bar” if you will, so your experience may be different with the timeframe. It took about 45 minutes for our Cauliflower wings and Salmon BLT to get to us. Servers were very busy, but were also so very friendly and we didnt care about the time as this place is Huge!!! They have alot going on which is awesome and a must see! Walking through the main entrance is a fancy showroom that is available for reservations, but outside is where it is happening! Three levels of viewing the river! The food and drinks were all so good and the servers so nice, and watching the boats pull up was very cool!

Great food, service, and atmosphere! The patio was very dog friendly. Our waitress brought our pup a bowl of ice water and we didn’t even have to ask. Another waitress brought him bacon strips, and they had plain burgers we could order for him. We both had cocktails, split the Buffalo dip, and had sandwiches, and it all tasted great— especially the dip! Located right on the lake, you can’t beat the location.

Amazing lake vibes at Pick’s! We sat on the patio right in the lake and it was heavenly. There’s lots of tables, all with umbrellas, and a great view. Our service was quick and amazing. We got the Anything Is Popsicle drinks which were 10/10 delicious. I had the buffalo chicken salad and a side of fries (#girldinner) and both were so good. I’ll definitely be returning!
