We are a full service restaurant that is unique in that we roast all of our coffee on site as well as offer espresso drinks, for which we make all of our syrups from scratch. We have a full on site bakery that bakes all of our breads and pastries daily and our kitchen is from scratch and uses as much local and organic as possible.

I can’t speak to the food. I only get coffee here. It is delicious. Book Club Cafe is great place to have a wind-down-cuppa. Quite and spacious yet somehow intimate. They roast the beans themselves. They do a great job. They make their own syrups themselves in house.
House coffee is very satisfying. For an extra 20p it’s bottomless so you can sit and drink all day … or until you go into a caffeinated coma.

My family has been eating at this restaurant for several years. The food is decent, but the management is truly awful.
My husband ordered a chicken and waffle breakfast. When it arrived, the waffle Was just barely warm and he asked for some butter. The waiter did not bring it until we were finished with the meal. My husband waited to eat the waffle With butter But unfortunately, at that time, it was cold.
He asked for a new one. The waiter ran off and sent a manager over who basically told us we would have to buy another waffle because it’s “made from scratch”.
Our table was neglected from the time we placed the order.
This is not the first time there has been an issue with the service. Our check was $60 for two meals and half of one couldn’t even be eaten. Very disappointing. We won’t be back.

We love this place! We’re here 1-2 times per week like clockwork. We’ve cycled through a few different servers over the years, but they are all amazing. Currently, Becca is our go-to and does an awesome job!
The entire menu here is fantastic. Whether you’re in the mood for breakfast or lunch, you can’t go wrong with anything you choose. It’s all incredibly consistent given they make everything from scratch and utilize fresh, local ingredients.

In town visiting and decided to eat here for the food and coffee options. Our party of 4 was definitely not disappointed! Hannah was out server and she was great and so helpful with her suggestions. Our coffees were hot and tasty…and our breakfasts were the perfect serving sizes and we didn’t feel stuffed afterwards.

Wanted to try somewhere new to catch up with a friend and the Book Club Cafe did not disappoint. Coffee was great, food was even better and our server was the best! Atmosphere is super inviting, so much so that we overstayed our welcome. They do have a 1.5 hour max on table time during their peek hours which is totally understandable as they do get busy. Reservations during their peek hours is highly recommended. 10/10 will be back!
