Tried a new spot for date night and it did not disappoint. ️
I’m a sucker for fried green tomatoes and my husband loves anything bourbon-forward, so this place felt like a perfect match for us.
We sampled four appetizers, and the queso and fried green tomatoes were clear standouts—flavorful, comforting, and done just right. For drinks, we had the chocolate peanut butter bourbon and the lemongrass mule, and both were absolutely excellent and well balanced.
The live music played on a saxophone was a great touch and really set the mood. One of our favorite moments was watching five retired couples dancing and genuinely enjoying the music—it added so much charm and made the whole experience feel special and joyful.
Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere—definitely a place we’d return to for another date night.

Came with a large group after the Christmas parade, overall experience with the food wasn’t good. The meatball appetizer was so heavy with garlic you could deter vampires, they were extremely big, dry and LOADED with garlic. I had the bourbon chicken which any other place is typically sweet bourbon sauce with a little kick. The bourbon chicken here was not and extremely spicy! I bit into some sort of pepper and it lit me up. My carrots were very crunchy that I saved them to finish cooking when we got home, it’s like they threw raw carrots on the grill for a couple of minutes and tossed em on the plate. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp and grits and he didn’t like them either, lacked any flavor, and the sauce was watery. Our server was great and did the best she could with our large table, the restaurant itself was so loud you couldn’t speak or carry a conversation at the table without yelling at one another.

Absolutely amazing through and through. The Neptune filet was the best I ever had. My wife had the meatballs that were out of this world. Greg the chef recommended everything! So listen to him!!!! We will be back for brunch!!

Terrible experience. When we asked to speak with the manager, they stated there was no manager. The owner only comes in to collect the cash and drink.
Spent over 2 hours to get a dinner. The “smash burger” wasn’t even a smash burger and was worse than a bubba burger.

I was at this place 4 years ago. It was fantastic. Great vibe and great food. I raved about it to our friends and insisted we go tonight. We walked in and the place was empty except for a few people at the bar. The waitress was clearly drunk. She proceeded to tell us what they didn’t have. We ordered smash burgers and meatloaf. The meatloaf came out looking like a black brick. Absolutely gross. The burgers were ok but not worth $18. The place is doomed. No wonder it was empty. I’m sad about it because my first experience was so great

Came here for Martini Monday and was underwhelmed. Our bartender was very attentive and had a desire to please us. My first order was a dirty gin martini and my friends has a lemon drop martini and an expresso martini with a splash of Bailey’s. I tried to order a chocolate martini but they were out of vanilla vodka. I asked for another dirty martini and they had no olive juice. They also didn’t have peanut butter whiskey or Captain Morgan. My guess is the distributors are not delivering anything without upfront payment. I do not anticipate Pickled being around much longer which is super sad since this is where I signed my marriage certificate.

This was our second time at the restaurant and we had thought we had a regular new favorite place based on the shrimp and grits being the best we ever had . First visit service was excellent, waitress was very attentive even though they were short staffed , food was amazing. We ordered quiet a few items to try and fell in love .
THIS VISIT, server wasn’t very attentive and finally after we were finished eating sent over a server that was new all of her answers were “I’m not sure, I’m new or I don’t know let me ask” Portion size seemed smaller but the real turn off this visit was adding the “service fee” for 2 servings of shrimp and grits and we didn’t notice until after we paid and tipped even though we barely saw the waitress! Our first visit did not include a service fee, we ordered way more AND tipped well. We won’t be going back.

We stopped in around 8:40 on a Friday night for a quick bite. There were a few tables with groups, but overall it was very quiet. It took an awkwardly long time for anyone on staff to acknowledge us and seat us (despite a few servers walking by us a couple of times). The bartender actually came out from behind the bar to seat us (and then serve us). He was very friendly and attentive – and rushed our food order in because their kitchen closes at 9pm. The chocolate peanut butter old fashioned was awesome and the food was good (although $25 is insane for what ended up being a tiny serving of plain fettuccine alfredo). The place had a nice ambiance and the bartender was great. We’ll be back for drinks and apps.

Very Cool looking Spot. Food was just ok. Our biggest problem came at the end. We were well aware of the 18% automatic gratuity added to bill to pay higher wages and provide healthcare. What we didn’t appreciate was our waitress advising us she got none of that and expected us to tip another 20% for her. I added another 7% as I would any other restaurant that does this. Staff should not be telling guests they get none of that money!

Food was very good, band was very good. Server was very good. Prices were fair BUT….recommending a minimum of 18% tip on top of the 18% already automatically added to the bill is shady. Not cool. Either the tip is included or it should be up to the client. Trying to get patrons to pay double….or 36% on the bill is not cool.
