The though of having a bacon egg and cheese in upstate New York was not one that I was looking forward to but the Pickled Pig Deli proved me wrong. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and I gotta say it was very delicious. The business is clean, has indoor and outdoor seating, and a broad selection of food. Would definitely return!

This deli is hands down the best deli in the area. I haven’t had a bad meal here. Wherever they source their bread products from they should never change it – the sandwich rolls and bagels are great. Generous portions especially for the already extremely reasonable prices. The staff, including the owner, are all extremely friendly whenever I go in with my family and i like that they have a comfortable area for seating too. This place is a gem and I hope it never changes!

Came here from Chicago, so used to italian deli type places. This was sooo good. We came during a big rush, so it was really busy and crowded. But we only had to wait like 10 mins. The guy working (I’m assuming the owner or manager- he seemed to know everyone) was very apologetic and kept checking on us.
Now for the food. Oh lawd this food was good. I got the pesto caprese and it did not disappoint. They did not skimp on ingredients and the portions were huge. So delicious. I can’t wait to try again when we visit again.

I haven’t reviewed a restaurant in a while, but this one deserves it. I’m a 2020 SUNY New Paltz graduate so I’ve had my fair share of Russo’s Deli. When I heard they got bought out I was very skeptical about going on my visit back to New Paltz. A few reviews about how it was a downgrade from Russo’s stood out. However, the record needs to be set straight. While this place is not Russo’s, and I do miss the homemade focaccia, Pickled Pig Deli is still an amazing spot and deserves some recognition. The workers (and I think owner?) were all very nice and the food is awesome. I’m especially glad they kept the My Cousin Luca sandwich as I was able to introduce it to my girlfriend after hyping it up so much. It wasn’t Russo’s My Cousin Luca…it was arguably better!

We are so glad we found this deli while visiting from out of town! We had the Luca and Pastrami Reuben, both were delicious. I’m sure you can’t go wrong no matter what sandwich you order. We put in an online pickup order and everything was packed securely and ready to go in 20 min. Highly recommend!

Ordered from here twice in the last 2 days. Lunch was a little pricey but breakfast was a great price. Food was yummy with good portions both times. However, this review is mostly for their customer service. We had an issue with the order yesterday, BUT when I went in to order today, not only did they go above and beyond to make it right, but they instantly recognized me.
