I recently visited the Pickle Barrel Cafe at 214 W Clinton St, in Gray, GA. I have visited this place numerous times over my years when Iived in Gray. I seem to get a very consistently good food product and I enjoy either sitting at the bar counter or a window table. A nice place to visit

Stopped in at 3pm, not too busy. Service was excellent, ordered a giant pub pretzel and a burger with beer battered fries to split. Food was great, fresh and tasty. The battered fries were fresh and really good! Definitely coming back!

This place is such a sleeper hit. On the outside it looks like a run of the mill sports bar. It kind of is, but the prices are super cheap and the food is excellent. The thing I was most surprised by was the how good our server was. I can’t recall her name, but she was a young, short blonde girl. She gave excellent enough service to come away with a very big tip, and I will make the 40 mile drive again to come back.

Ordered food with my friend. My salad had a strange taste so I took it home to go to try it again later. My friend’s wings were undercooked. It was shown to the server who only offered to get her more wings. At that point, my friend didn’t want to eat anymore. So, we left disappointed in the food quality. My friend ended up with food poisoning from the undercooked wings the same night. I tossed out the remainder of my salad because I didn’t trust it anymore. I had to spend money on resources to go and provide care for my friend. She reported the food poisoning to the manager the next day who said she would call my friend back. She didn’t call back. There were 3 witnesses that the wings were undercooked. Somehow, nobody is taking it seriously at this point. The server was nice and the atmosphere was nice. I hope somebody takes accountability.

I was on hold for 40 minutes. They forgot about me. I call back its a busy signal. I think they take the phones off the hook because they make no tips (per what i heard) off of take away orders so they purposely hang up on them, or keep them on hold for as long as possible so it produces a busy signal for other callers. I drove to location with myself still on hold. Restaurant was not packed. I recommend going to broken axle or trinabells.
