Neighborhood Italian standby with a warm vibe plating homemade ravioli & other red-sauce classics.

The food here was absolutely outstanding! My mother and I visited, and we were both blown away. She had the four cheese ravioli with vodka sauce, and I had the pollo zingarella—both dishes were seasoned to perfection and tasted incredible. Even though it’s Italian cuisine, the food felt surprisingly light and fresh as we ate.
We travel often and consider ourselves serious food critics, and this place is hands-down the best Italian food we’ve ever had. In fact, it’s now on our short list of the best meals we’ve enjoyed anywhere in the world!
The service was equally impressive—very personable and attentive. We even had the chance to chat with the owner, who was incredibly friendly and shared some great tips on how to make a high-quality Marsala sauce at home.
Highly, highly recommend coming here. I’ll be making trips to Long Island just to eat here again and try more of their menu!

This was my second time coming here, and it was just as good as I remembered. The first time, I had the gnocchi—it was a huge portion and absolutely delicious. Honestly, I’ve been thinking about it ever since and would come back just for that.
This time around, I started with the Caesar salad, which had a really nice peppery flavor. It added a little extra something without being too much. For mains, I had the shrimp scampi and the chicken zingarella. The scampi sauce was super flavorful—pretty sure there was a bit of cognac in it that gave it a nice richness. The shrimp were a tiny bit overcooked, but still tasty overall. The chicken zingarella was great too—really flavorful and comforting, though I couldn’t exactly tell what was in it. Whatever it was, it worked.
The vibe here is cozy and relaxed, and the service is always on point—friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. It’s just a really solid spot for a nice dinner out. Definitely planning to come back again soon.

We went with 2 couples for a 6:00 reservation on a Saturday night and were seated in an excellent corner location promptly. We were given good advice on dish selections. We had cocktails, appetizers, main dessert and coffee, spending 150 per couple(worth it). What we were not aware is our table was reserved for an 8.00 seating.and we did not appreciate feeling rushed to pay the bill and leave. For each course we were asked at least 3 times (in 2 minute intervals) if we had made our selection. This was not the casual dining experience we have had in past at Picolos. (averaging 3 hours usually on Friday). We won’t be returning on a Saturday night in the future.

The moment that I stepped foot into this restaurant, I knew that it’d be a winner. The dim lights, the idle chatter, and the encapsulating decor really helped set the mood for a delicious meal.
As I sat down, a wonderful bus boy asked me what I wanted to eat, and I was greeted with various staff members coming over to see me over the course of my meal. They made sure that I was enjoying my food, and that I was comfortable where i was.
When it comes to the food, my recommendations are the ravioli (specifically the 5 cheese variant) and the $6 pistachio ice cream located at the bottom of the dessert menu.
All in all, if you want good food, you should come to piccolo’s! (Just make sure you have a little something in your wallet).

Our waiter was very kind to the white patrons that were sitting right next to us(We were attending a bridal shower that involved mixed cultures, which included Indian Americans, and Greek-American). He offered to pack their leftovers (not once asked us and was very giving to them} while I got dirty looks. He revealed to them that he was from Barcelona , Spain. I was mortified by how different he was treating us. We will not be patrons of this establishment anymore.

My husband raves about Piccolo’s. I must say they did not disappoint. We went with another couple(family) this evening. The men ordered the pollo zingarell, grilled chicken bruchett and I had the shrimp franchise. No on was disappointed and everyone finished their food. Well seasoned, large portions and presented well. There was nothing left over to bring home. Highly recommend all 3 dishes. Service was more than adequate all were attentive and frequently checked on us. This is not a large restaurant, recommend calling for reservations. The only downside is parking lot is small but there is parking on the street. Will definitely go again.

The best and affordable place for wedding reception…We have privacy to only for our wedding way back 2019. I just had the chance to give review and they deserves to give credit! Place were excellent and foods were delicious. It’s truly worth the money we paid for that successful celebration with so much fun! Thank you so much! Keep up the good work!

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. My fiancée and I were dining here, and as we were leaving, I stopped briefly to tie my shoes. During that short moment, one of the waiters actually asked my fiancée out on a date. That was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. It made us both very uncomfortable and ruined what should have been a nice evening. Definitely would not recommend this place based on that behavior.
