Luckily, we had a 6:30pm reservation on Friday as they were very busy. This was our first time and we will go back for sure. Shrimp Canale was nice to share, my boyfriend’s Pan Seared Scottish Salmon was excellent, and my Spaghetti with Clam Sauce was flavorful and generous in size. But I prefer a bit more al dente. Their side House salad was generous in size and good. We both brought back our dinner as we could not finish them.

So I went here to meet on a first date. And have a drink with my date. We ordered a bottle of wine. And we’re proceeded to be made fun of and told we were a “very strange table and customers” for this. It continued as the young classless untrained waiter with zero people skills proceeded to incinerate we are drunks. Make jokes about the cork. And so on.

I love the food and they have done a great job accommodating my vegan options and my husband loves the other food. He is not vegan. The service has always been great but ask my site has gotten worse. The atmosphere does not accommodate my low vision. It is too dark for me to eat in there anymore. That is why the low rating for the atmosphere. But for others with better vision than I it would be fine probably.

Been here a dozen times. Last night was not good. Sent the muscles back. They were very large and did not taste fresh at all. Asked for lite cheese on the piazza, photo below. I would hate to see what heavy cheese looks like. It will be a while before I go back. Sorry you guys were off your game.

Everything about this place was amazing. I don’t remember our servers name, but we went on a Sunday night and she was behind the bar. I was surprised to see they didn’t have a lot of traffic inside. We would come more often but it’s a bit pricey, so we will save for special occasions, but of course we’ll be back! Get the meatballs, you won’t regret it.

George is a wonderful server at Piccolo! He is very attentive and personable. He’s here to serve. The food here is lovely and the Italian Wedding Soup tasted homemade. The tiramisu serving is enough for 2, maybe 3. The pic below is half of the serving for tomorrow’s dessert. Get to know George, he’s an interesting guy. Can you guess by his accent where he is from? As I walked away in the parking lot I noticed a Double Rainbow in the sky!!!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the server was very good, though very new on the job. For some reason, it took nearly an hour to serve our main course, during which time we observed patrons who were seated at the bar after we were, but were served and finished their meals and left while we continued to wait. Once my order was served, I discovered that it was missing chicken, causing a further delay while the chicken was added. To her credit, the server took credit for having omitted chicken by mistake. She even went as far as to offer to pay for my dessert. I would definitely recommend making a reservation, but I can’t say with certainty that they have earned future business from me. There was simply no logical reason for waiting as long as we did to be served, in my opinion.

This is the last time I am eating here. This place misses the mark on taste and flavor. I have eaten here probably 4 times and no more. I ordered the special which was advertised as penne pasta in a ricotta cream sauce with chicken and red peppers. What arrived was in fact penne pasta, a weird-tasting cream sauce, red peppers, some unidentifiable pepper or mushroom (which I hate) and wait for it…..poached chicken. Who the hell poaches chicken in a pasta dish? Hello 1979 calling. It was white, opaque and not visually appealing. I pulled out all the chicken and lined them on my plate. Our server (who was terrific by the way) saw what I did and asked if I wanted grilled chicken instead. Yes please. Why don’t they offer this instead? I understand that, depending on how you season chicken, it can fight with the flavor of the pasta. But when done right, the dish can sing. Grilled chicken was delicious. The hubby ordered the double pork chop. He said it was very good. The dish was advertised as being served with a demi-glace. By looking at it on the plate and seeing the sauces transparent edges, it was a cheater Demi-glace. Now I understand not every restaurant will make a demi-glace from scratch because of how time-consuming it is (especially for an Italian place and not a meat-centric place) but that semi-glace looked like a package gravy mix. Caesar salad was good.
