Piccola Osteria is such a cozy spot. I went with friends and we all really enjoyed it. The space feels warm and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive.
The food was fresh and flavorful, and everything we ordered came out just right. It is the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a good meal, and actually have a conversation without feeling rushed.
I would definitely come back and recommend it if you are looking for a solid Italian meal in Santa Clarita.

By far, this is my Favorite Italian restaurant. I have been here many times and I think only once, I didn’t like the Lasagna but every other time, the food is delicious and tasty. Their Old Fashion drink is one of my Favorites.

Tough call between 3 and 4 stars.
Piccolo Osteria in Valencia has a nice ambiance that immediately catches your attention. The place is fresh, clean, and new, featuring a large bar and around 50 tables inside. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed by the modern and inviting atmosphere. The hosting staff were welcoming and friendly, making a good first impression.
However, our experience with the waitress was less than ideal. She seemed to rush us through our meal, pushing for food orders too quickly, which made the dining experience feel a bit hurried.
As for the food, it was good but not outstanding. I had the salmon, which was prepared well, but it felt like something I could easily make at home. My wife’s angel hair pasta was in the same category—decent but nothing extraordinary.
Overall, Piccolo Osteria offers a pleasant dining environment and decent food, but it didn’t leave me particularly impressed. It was a nice experience, but not one that I’d rave about.

Service was good but that is the only good thing.
The meatballs had a very bad texture (seemed boiled) and were served with a tomato sauce incredibly acidic.
The pasta was overcooked and the ragù tasted like it was out of a can. Incredibly acidic and not enjoyable.
Everything tasted pre-made and not fresh. I would recommend you go elsewhere. We didn’t finish anything. We told the staff but no one seemed to care.

I had heard good things about this place so went & had the seafood pasta, I got so sick after, I decided to call to let them know. The owner (wife) of the owner stated she would issue me a gift card, but would have to call me back because they were busy. Never heard from her. Unfortunately, I never went back, I figured if the owner didn’t follow up as promised, I didn’t need to take a chance on getting sick again.

The truffle pasta special from 12/22 was the most insane meal I’ve ever tasted. It was truly unlike anything else, the taste was so strong and fulfilling!!! My fiance and I still talk about it. I’ll be trying to recreate for the rest of my life!! The decor was modern and clean. Great service as well. We had 3 courses and we constantly had clean plates and cutlery

Ordered the tortellini zucca. It was fabulous! The sauce was a great mix of creamy with a Parmesan zing to it. At first it seemed that it was a small dish, with only 6 two-bite sized tortellini. But by the time I got to the last one I had been proven wrong. The serving was just right. The tortellini were cooked to perfection and the pumpkin filling matched perfectly with the sauce. The filling was not overpowering but had just the right amount of flavor to complement the dish.
We tried several desserts. Cannoli, crème brûlée (from the specials menu) and pana cotta. Cannoli was excellent. I was disappointed with the brûlée as it was more jello consistency than crème and I couldn’t taste any vanilla within it. At the very bottom of the brûlée I could see vanilla bean seeds, but even scooping those up it was somewhat flavorless. It’s a bummer since crème brûlée is my absolute favorite desert and with the prior food for the evening I had high hopes. The pana cotta was ok. Nothing to write home about but not bad.
The service was excellent! Even though the restaurant was quite crowded, we were never left waiting. We ordered a bottle of water. It was the half liter size and after the initial pour, he left it at our table. However, our server dropped by frequently to fill our glasses as opposed to just letting us fill our own.
I will definitely be returning the Picolla and recommend it highly!
