My sister and I ate here and real enjoyed our meals. The bread was so fluffy, soft, and fresh. The service was amazing and such a great total experience from the time we walked in the door until leaving. The tiramisu was phenomenal. The lasagna was really solid as well. Shout out to our great server, Elena and the rest of Piccola Cucina staff who helped us out.

We went with our friends for dinner again recently. Been there many times and it is always fun. We sat in the back near the kitchen this time. Ordered several appetizers and main courses to share with the table. Then had great deserts. Erica the hostess is wonderful and always makes our visit a memorable dining experience.
Highly recommended! Visit often. Reservations a must.
Back again for lunch with friends. We ordered pasta with sausage and salad with tuna. Both were very nice. Large portions.

Piccolo Cucina Uptown is a delicious restaurant with excellent service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The entire experience felt special from start to finish.

They started us off with complimentary bread and a trio of dips, which was a lovely touch. We began with the fennel and orange salad and the zucchini flowers, which were fried and filled with cheese and both absolutely delicious.

For pasta, we enjoyed the bucatini cacio e pepe, made tableside in a cheese wheel, which was both fun and memorable. The maccheroni alla Norma with eggplant in a rich tomato sauce topped with cheese was outstanding.

For dessert, we couldn’t choose just one, so they brought us two, with one being complimentary. We had the cannoli and the lemon cheesecake with white chocolate, and both were excellent and the perfect ending to the meal.

A wonderful, warm experience with delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommend.

we found this place on Reddit and they said it was a hidden gem and we all agree. The service was great. The food was delicious. We walked in. We didn’t have to wait and it was a nice chill ambient environment. I want to emphasize the service was great because they kept our water full. They removed our plates immediately and the food did not take long whatsoever. It was really cool that they made our tiramisu tableside at the end. I’d recommend this place. It’s really good and definitely a good place to check out.

The complimentary bread was absolutely amazing! Fresh, chewy, and full of flavor. Pizza liked bread, they called it focaccia, but it was actually the thin and crispy kind. The cheese on the pizza was quite salty and they used a generous amount of it, so I had to drink lots of water to balance it out.
For dessert, I tried the tiramisu — freshly made right in front of us, and it was pretty good!
All in all, the service here was incredibly nice. Such a pleasant dining experience!

We sat at the bar and by the time we left there were no seats! I think the food was good and especially loved the breatd – fresh, lots of flavor, and a great selection of wine. I love the cuteness of this place and the wine selection was pretty decent too! I liked the Zucchini flowers but the gnocchi we got ended up being way more of a blue cheese flavor than i thought it would but the gnocchi melted in your mouth. I would try it again with a different sauce instead.

Piccola Cucina Uptown is easily one of the best Sicilian restaurants in NYC!
The grilled octopus is tender and full of flavor, the arancini are perfectly flavorful & crisp. The pasta is consistently great, and the thin-crust pizza delivers that light, crispy bite, crispy, and loaded with taste without feeling heavy. Tiramisu —Easily one of the best you’ll find anywhere.

All around, this place delivers consistently great food and a warm, welcoming vibe. A must-visit if you’re looking for truly great Sicilian cooking in NYC.

This location stands out for its authentic vibe and flavorful dishes. The calamari was amazing, and the octopus carpaccio had a perfect balance with the veggies. The truffle branzino is an absolute must try unforgettable flavor!Unfortunately, the cacio e pepe was disappointing beautiful presentation but too watery and lacking in cheesy flavor. The signature clam spaghetti was nice for seafood lovers. The biggest letdown was the service. My cocktail arrived 20 minutes late (and only after I asked again), and it tasted mostly like water and ice. The wine came out almost after we finished the appetizers, and the server didn’t pour it, just left it on ice bucket. She sent out all the appetizers at the same time, even though we were there to enjoy a relaxed, pleasant dinner(the table was small, and unfortunately, it was impossible to find space for more than two appetizers.)
Desserts were fantastic. I wish the server had treated us more like guests rather than just customers. We wouldn’t have felt like they wanted us to leave quickly, and we would have had a much nicer overall experience.

This was my 1st time dining here and my goodness, will I be a returning customer in the future. My friend and I were originally supposed to dine at the Monkey Bar last minute as we just finished a fun day of shopping, not only were their reservations staff rude as hell but we were told we were the 17th person in line to wait for a table….I think not and found this place on Google hoping just to get food in our systems.

We were seated immediately, service was impeccable, the menu was full of lovely, authentic, Italian food from fish to pasta served with bread and condiments. Both of us ordered pasta dishes, came out quick and piping hot and my friends pasta was made tableside in a pasta Wheel, I felt like I was in for a show. Drinks were also fantastic and reasonably priced and even though we didnt have room for desert in our system, our server insisted we have the cannolis (which were indeed fantastic)!

Our server even noticed that our bags were touching the floor and gave us bag hooks and I felt so happy we chose this place. They should give an dining and hospitality etiquette class to the team at Monkey bar, this should be as popular if not more than that establishment.
