We’ve been serving quality pizza in Ocean City since 1995! But did you know about our other dishes? How about a plate of tortellini carbonara, fresh scallops served over pasta, or a grilled chicken and sharp provolone panini? Here at Piccini you have plenty of options for lunch and dinner, from pizza to pasta to our signature sandwiches!
Homey, cash-only eatery serving a wide-ranging menu of Italian staples, from pastas to sandwiches.

We Googled best pizza in Ocean City NJ and Piccini Wood Fired Brick Oven Pizza was at the top. . It did not disappoint. We had a red sauce pepperoni and mushroom large pizza and it was delicious. Doreen the waitress was friendly and attentive to us. It was clean and atmosphere was relaxing . We dined in and there was no wait time. It also was on Diners, Drive-in’s & Dives . We will visit again if we are in this area. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stopped in before the parade with my husband. This is our go-to Italian restaurant on parade night. The margarita pizza is so good with a nice thin and crisp crust. The sausage and peppers sandwich was delicious. Love how they toast the roll. The side salad was very fresh with a nice Italian dressing. Service was great as well; gave us time to decide and never felt rushed through our meal. Kept a good check on us. The prices are reasonable with the quality of food.

Amazing experience here at Piccini. Ordered pick up take out and left with pure satisfaction. We messed up the name of our order and they were patient and went item by item to find the real name. The staff also helped us carry it out, as well as split up our payment in many ways. Loved it here. The food on the other hand, was not even on the other hand: it was on par with the excellent customer service. I will 100% be back for the best Italian food in OCNJ.

Great casual place to grab some lunch or dinner. Love getting the personal pizzas cooked by Mo and chatting with the hostess/waitress Doreen.

I had not been to Piccini’s in several years, and I was not missing anything. I am saddened, and disappointed, that I raved about what a wonderful place to eat this was to our family from Philadelphia, and we picked this for our Saturday night dinner. They were way over crowded, and under staffed. We waited over 20 minutes to get our order in, and over 30 minutes to get our entree, and we got a basket of cold bread while we waited. When it arrived, it was lukewarm. We paid over $30 for an entree that didn’t even include a salad or soup, or even warm bread, but even worse.. our $34 entree didn’t even come with a side of pasta. It was chicken picatta with lump crab meat on a plate. That was it. Period! Besides the cold bread of course. When we asked why we saw other people getting salad with their entree, our server told us it was upon request because too many people were getting a salad, and not eating it. After realizing no pasta came with the most expensive dish on the menu, we asked for a side of pasta with a fra diablo sauce, which was on the menu, we were told they could not serve pasta with that sauce?? Seriously? I was embarrassed that my family spent that much money on a subpar meal that was missing the things that are even included at Olive Garden or any other Italian restaurant. It’s a shame that people spend good money on cold bread and a plate of chicken with a few pieces of crab meat, and 3 spears of asparagus. Won’t ever be recommending, or returning back here again!!!!

You really can’t go wrong with the lunch specials here. The minestrone soup was delicious and the sausage pizza was perfect. There are so any options and you can’t beat the price. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. We will definitely be back to try the cheesesteak!!

Margherita pizza. I had Margherita pizzas from various places. Obviously, every place has its own recipes. But you would expect basil, fresh mozzarella and pizza sauce. Unfortunately, it was disappointing to see that this pizza had non of these. No fresh mozzarella. Barely visible small green pieces of, I assume, basil. The worst part, there were untasty chunks of can tomato, a lot of it. No, thank you.

Piccini is a great smaller-sized restaurant. Their menu has plenty of options including a large selection of wood fired pizzas. I ended up ordering the chicken parm dinner with a salad, which I really enjoyed. The chicken parm tasted great, and I liked how the pasta noodles were more on the firm side. They weren’t shy in providing a lot of chicken in the dish. The food came out quickly, the waitress was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I highly recommend Piccini.

On Sunday, 07/06/2025, my family and I visited the beach and decided to try a nearby pizza spot. We came across Piccini Wood-Fired Brick Oven Pizza, and based on my wife’s suggestion, we decided to give their wood-fired pizza a try for the first time.
When we asked for a veggie pizza, the staff informed us it wasn’t available. Instead, they recommended a plain cheese pizza with added toppings. We went with a 16” plain pizza ($25) and added black olives ($4.50), extra cheese ($5.50), fried onions ($4.50), green peppers ($4.50), and jalapeños ($5.50), bringing the total to over $50.
Unfortunately, the pizza was a major disappointment. It appeared undercooked, lacked the crisp, charred edges typical of wood-fired pizza, and had a very bland taste. For the price we paid, we expected far better quality.
This was one of the most underwhelming pizza experiences we’ve had. Spending that much and still walking away unsatisfied was frustrating and ruined an otherwise pleasant day. I’m sharing this review so others can be aware before visiting.

Was looking to do a century ride today to Cape May from Borgata. The rain cut it short to 80 miles. Stopped here to refuel at mile 60.
Awesome pizza .
Brick oven wood fired pies in 5 minutes.
I had the 8 inch red pizza pie for $9.95 similar to 2 large NYC slices.
Thin crust with a drooping cheese reminiscent of Brooklyn’s best .
Wonderful place for pizza if you are in the area…
