I visited on 2-3-2026 this was my second time visiting this is one of my mom favorite restaurants. First time we went through the drive thru she got a order and a slice of sweet potato pie. This time I actually went inside of the restaurant. I got a seafood platter comes with a drink so I had to wait for them to drop six shrimp and hush puppies the fish and the sides were available. Well at least I know that the food was fresh..I didn’t receive any condiments like ketchup packets and tartar sauce. I was not asked did I need any. I thought initially that they would have just put it in the bag. I got home and found out it did not happen. The food is good other than that issue. Pull up and check them out.

After the closing of our beloved Piccadilly in South Dekalb mall, we were all open to try the new drive-through replacement version that was conveniently located just across the street from the old restaurant. I enjoyed the convenience of fast food by going through the drive-through but when I got home and open my plate, I realize it was just that……. fast food. In the old restaurant you used to get this humongous piece of codfish and overflowing servings of vegetables now I got a plate that remind me of the struggle plates that we used to get after Bible study when I was a kid. Nonetheless, I said my blessing and devoured my “to God be the glory “ plate in my car. I paid $12 for the plate which did not include a beverage.

Happened to pass by and see a childhood favorite of mine. Grew up in Daytona beach and frequented the Piccadilly cafeteria in the mall with my mom as kid. Only thing missing was the roast beef carving station. Food was fantastic and will be a frequent customer once again!

The food was so-so. Broccoli rice and cheese was bland. Greens were tasteless. Fried chicken was ok. Was not impressed at all. Not for $16. The servers were very nice and welcoming though.

My okra was completely ruined by vegetable juice from the broccoli and cabbage. It was soggy and inedible after the few pieces on top. On top of that, the vegetables themselves were unfavorable with no seasoning, which made the meal even more disappointing. I haven’t eaten here in years and decided to give it another try since you moved locations, but this was very disappointing and a waste of money. Please be more mindful when packing to-go plates so items don’t get soaked. Also, the young lady in the drive-thru could be much nicer …customer service matters. I won’t be back.

The food was great. Service was friendly and kind. It’s super busy as the senior citizens in the area love this place. I’m sure they will improve on the flow of taking orders. People just have to be a bit patient. Everything was great.

We finally gave the new location a try. Everything LOOKED good for sure! I had the chopped steak and it was EXTREMELY DELICIOUS, along with the sautéed onions.
I had to try the carrot casserole because I used to get it back in the day in Stockbridge. It did NOT disappoint. They need to go ahead and put that thang in a pie shell because it tastes so good.
I even had the black eyed peas, which I ate with the gravy from my chopped steak. SO good. My cornbread muffin was okay.My husband had the fried fish, Mac and cheese, as well as the black eyed peas, with a roll. Mac and cheese is my favorite dish, so I tried his. It was ok. He said he liked his fish and roll.
His roll probably would have tasted good dipped in my gravy.
We will definitely be back! I have to try out the cabbage and the dressing which I wanted, but it was practically empty and I did not want the last bit of it.

Haven’t eaten at Piccadilly in over 20 years, but had to drop in on the Candler Road location today, just for nostalgia’s sake, and plus the line was long and inside appeared to be booming so I had to give it try! Waited about 15 minutes in drive through for two orders of fried chicken, green beans and macaroni and cheese. The service was super friendly. The fried chicken was pretty good with hot sauce, but the Mac and cheese, what in theeeee hell? I’ve had better from a box microwave or even chic fil a. It was literally watery!!! The green beans, bland. They need real cooks, but I’m glad Candler Road has this option. Just get some real cooks for the sides and it will be fire!

This location just opened so I decided to try Piccadilly’s for the first time. Food was not flavorful at all and the chicken was not thoroughly cleaned to my satisfaction. I didn’t enjoy my meal!

Piccadilly’s is BACKKK! Do not be swayed by the negative comments. The food was good and service was great! My goodness folks…the restaurant just opened…give them some grace. We need this longstanding staple to remain in our community!
