We had the Tres Empanadas and Yuca fries appetizers (loosely using that term here, the food comes out when it comes). Empanadas were greasy but I especially liked the beef one. Husband liked the cheese one! Yuca fries were not salty enough for me.
The grilled chicken in the arepa was a little dry, but the thing as a whole was good. The beef arepa was perfect – plantains a perfect complement to the yellow corn arepa, and the beef was shredded and delicious. Should have ordered 2-3!
They have some sauces on the table, the spicy one is quite good.
Service was totally lacking, but we did not mind. It’s counter order with table delivery.
We got the 3 for 20 deal with he vegiterian, vegan, and spicy black bean and all three were great. On their own they were good but what made them great was the combo with the sauces. There were three sauces: a cilantro lime, sun dried tomato, and sweet and sour sauce (or at least that’s all what they tasted like). Between the varried sauces and sandwiches it was really flavorful.
The service was friendly and the food was really quick. The atmosphere was decent with colorful decorations and lots of windows. A small note is that there aren’t water glasses but rather just plastic cups and a pitcher on the side of the room.
