I had driven past this place a week ago and had the chance to stop in for lunch with my wife and we were absolutely floored by the interiors and even more floored by the high quality barbecue and Zen who was running the counter was extremely knowledgeable about the history and how the food is prepared, which was really interesting. Really liked the brisket and the beans. It honestly felt like I had stepped into Texas. Update… I just read one of the other reviews that said that they knew barbecue places but didn’t understand why they were asked lean or fat. But I’m sorry that is a standard barbecue question. This place is good and they know barbecue

The food overall is pretty good. I wish they had a few more options on their menu but what they do have is tasty. I had the brisket mac and cheese and the mac and cheese was very smooth and cheesy and the brisket had some good flavor and was overall pretty moist. The workers also always seem fairly nice.

I went through the drive thru for the first time. The server was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I ordered the 2 way combo with brisket and sausage. The brisket was all fat and the sausage was keilbasa that I could’ve purchased at market basket. It was barely warm and mushy!! I was not impressed at all and to spend 30. It was not worth it

I went for a dinner with my family, atmosphere was perfect, clean and spacious. My toddlers and I enjoyed watching our food be brought from the smoker to the counter, cut, and plated all in front of us (one of the few restaurants my kids actually sat still for).
I got the pulled pork plate with collard greens and elote corn. My pork was cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of smokiness and dry rub. I also enjoyed their white lighting sauce which pairs perfect with any of their meat choices. My collard greens were also very flavorful with just the right amount of meat pieces. Corn was delicious as well! And my toddlers shared everything and loved it all.
Portion sizes are very good as I had a whole second meal out of it!
Highly recommend to anyone who is thinking about stopping. Staff are quick, kind, and were willing to answer any questions we had.

Real smoker outside the restaurant! Give them a try. Nice smoke ring on meats and moist. Tasty collard greens too! Service will probably improve as they become more experienced in their jobs as this is a newly opened restaurant.

I feel really lucky this place opened up in Rindge. A touch tricky to find, but the location is very convenient once you do. It’s across from Walmart in the same area as Tractor Supply. This is a true smokehouse, it has really excellent food and a lot of options. Showed up for the first time two nights ago and can’t wait to go back. Very reasonable prices. I’ve found my new favorite spot!

Brisket was smoked to perfection with high quality marbled fat. Delicious. Also the dirty rice was the bomb. Cooked just like my Cajun grandmother used to make it with chicken liver and beef. This is BBQ. done right. If you know, you know.

I’ve been to a lot of bbq places and this was awful, very disappointed. Not many places to eat in the area so we were excited to try it out. Unfortunately will not return. The Mac and cheese was awful, the brisket was extremely fatty. I don’t know the reason they ask if you want lean or fat when I asked for lean and it was more fatty then meat. No kids menu at all either, definitely not family friendly.

I wish I knew about this place earlier. The gentleman was so nice the food was incredible. We did take out on the bisque it was so good. Highly recommended especially if your hiking the mountain. Bring it to your room and enjoy.

I was very excited to have a BBQ place near me. Walked in to a nice lady at the counter. Friendly and answered all of my questions. The owner/Pit Master was also there and I spent about 20 minutes talking to him sharing stories and listening to how the place came to be. I got 1lb of Pulled Pork and 1lb of Brisket. I got told how everything was cooked how long and all. It was a great time. Brought the food home and tried it and here are my thoughts. I have also spent time working in BBQ places. So I am using my experience to add something to my review.
The Brisket was wonderful. I did get a few fatty pieces. But I think it brings something to the meat. I got the Sweet BBQ sauce. I tried the meat without the sauce first. Got hit with the smoky flavor first. I was pleasantly surprised. It was even great cold.
The Pulled Pork was good. I am really picky with pulled pork. It was great with sauce. Plain was just ok. That has nothing to do with how it was cooked. Just my preference. i spent around 60 bucks with a tip for everything. I cannot wait to go back and try more things. For the area the food was great. And the conversation was awesome as well.
