My wife and I recently discovered this place and will be regularly coming back. Very good halal and vegetarian menu with great portions. You can call ahead of time and get your food prepared exactly how you want it, with the spice level customized. The owner is very nice, and her food is clearly authentic. Bonus points as the place is open late night

Found this HALAL gem! The malai chicken was too good. Everything is halal except for chicken liver. We talked to the owner and she said she gets her meat from restaurant depot. I can’t wait to be back and try other things from the menu!

Not recommended Totally disappointed, I ordered the Mutton Curry (Khosha Mangsho) combo, ordered the garlic naan separately, she charged for it but only gave me the curry and garlic naan, when I asked her she replied that if I added it she would not give me the combo! But she charged me the full amount, which is totally unacceptable! Also the food was poor, Nan was looks like frozen naan from Costco, the curry was so greasy, and the curry was less quantity

This place was an amazing find—a true hidden gem! Nestled in a mini-mall in Weymouth, it serves authentic Kolkata specialties that instantly took me back home. I ordered the Fish Fry (A-5) and Egg-Chicken Chowmein (A-10), and both delivered exactly what I was hoping for.
For the chowmein, I went with the moderate-spicy option. It turned out quite mild—still delicious—but next time I’ll definitely go for the spicier version. The Fish Fry, however, was the star: fresh, perfectly seasoned, and wonderfully crunchy. We Bengalis take our fish seriously, and while Fish and Chips are everywhere in Boston and Massachusetts, the Kolkata-style Fish Fry—made famous by pioneers like Apanjan and Mitra Café—is in a league of its own. This is the first place I’ve found here that truly gets it right.
Portion sizes were generous, exactly as they should be. It’s a refreshing change from the small portions served at many Indian and Bangladeshi restaurants in Massachusetts that still charge premium prices. The amount of noodles in my A-10 was easily comparable to a large serving from a standard Chinese takeout spot. This restaurant understands that in the U.S., large portions are the norm—and they deliver.
I’m already planning my next visit for takeout.

Ordered food from this restaurant for the first time with high hopes, but the food unfortunately fell short of expectations. I ordered the chicken biryani, but it didn’t resemble a traditional preparation — the chicken still had skin on it, which is quite unusual for this dish.
I also tried the paneer butter masala, and it lacked both the typical taste and presentation that you’d expect from such a popular Indian entrée.
While I appreciate the effort, the overall experience was disappointing in terms of authenticity and flavor. I hope the restaurant considers refining their recipes to better reflect traditional Indian cuisine.

The food is very authentic and exceptional, you can tell that it was not pre-prepared or placed under a heating lamp. It is all prepared on-demand and carries a true Bengali flavor.
The owner, Moumita, runs the restaurant by herself and works day and night serving plates of joy. If she isn’t too busy preparing all the delicious food, she is very delightful to have a conversation with. I had the Samosas and Masala tea which I highly, HIGHLY, recommend.

Absolutely outstanding experience at Kolkata Cuisine Inc.! The Kolkata-style mutton biriyani here is exceptional — aromatic, rich, and perfectly balanced with that signature Kolkata touch. Their fish fry is crisp, flavorful, and just melts in the mouth, while the Kolkata-style egg roll tastes exactly like what you’d find on the streets of Kolkata — authentic, satisfying, and perfectly spiced.

Had goat curry with rice, it was absolutely amazing. My friend had the shrimp curry with rice. Very authentic indian food, just like in India. So many choices on the menu, good portions and very tasty. This place is the real deal, you have to try it…….
