The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly. What stood out to me the most was the shrimp balls served with bamboo shoots as handles and the use of reusable chopsticks. I also want to give them credit for their eco-friendly efforts.

Update-the last time we were there was not a great experience. We probably won’t go back.

Our meal was really good. The roast pork fried rice was excellent. The fried dumplings were ok but not awesome. They could have used a delicious sauce to dip them in. The shrimp in garlic sauce and chicken and vegetables were very good. I was disappointed that it wasn’t a Coke establishment since I love Coke with Chinese food.

Constantly bustling with Chinese ladies serving dim sum from carts. They may not have all the huge tables and lazy Susan’s (the american name of the rotating serving platers) but the food is amazing. Unbiased opinion, get the tendon.

Definitely a very large dining room inside that you cannot really see from the outside. We were here on a Saturday afternoon and were surprised to be seated right away as we often see an overflow of customers waiting outside the doors. They have your typical dim sum fare at decent prices. Three women were pushing the carts around to the tables. We were serviced quickly and were able to find all of the items that we wanted. The quality was good and tasted delicious just like what you would expect for a restaurant like this. Additional items can be ordered from the kitchen. I will have to come back to try their dinner menu. Definitely one of the best dim sum restaurants in the Phoenix area.

My family made the honest mistake of choosing Phoenix Palace to celebrate a personal milestone, and the way we were treated from the moment we arrived was sincerely the worst dining experience I have ever experienced. Our party was large (17 people) and so we requested two tables to be pushed together to ensure we could all eat together. The woman serving (whom we believe is the owner) initially refused to push the tables together, claiming this would disrupt the flow of the space. The restaurant is large and there were only two other couples eating in the far corners of the other side of the room the entire time we were there. We should have left right in that moment, but after a lot of back and forth, my dad talked her into seeing that we were celebrating a family event and that it was important we were all seated together. That seemed to sour the owner’s mood. She proceeded to serve everyone with a frankly bizarre and patronizing attitude. At one point, she made a remark about the amount of food we ordered, and since there was only one cook, the food came out platter by platter over the course of 20 minutes instead of all together at once. She also made a comment implying that the food was coming and that we needed to wait, even though no one was making demands of any kind. The worst was when she took a platter of leftover beef that everyone had already served themselves from and scraped it onto my dad’s half finished meal. He asked her, “how did you know I wanted that?” She said, “I didn’t, but that’s what you get.” We were all shocked by the audacity of her action. I have never seen a server take leftovers and just dump it onto someone’s plate on which they were still eating. My dad then asked her for a fresh new plate as he had not intended to eat what she had scraped onto his his original plate. My mom proceeded to ask her why she was acting so rude, and the owner practically waved her off. I think it must have clicked after that moment because from then until we left, she became overly friendly the rest of the evening. As for the food, it was sincerely some of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. The fried rice was burnt and dry, with a strong smoky flavor that overpowered anything else. The shrimp had not been deveined. Everything was overly sauced. The water tasted as if it had been siting in a dirty tank. Just nasty, hastily made food. The bill came out to $400, with a side of attitude and snark. We will never return to this establishment, and we will make sure everyone we know in the East Valley is warned about the horrific service and the mediocre food. Horrible experience.

1st time at Phoenix Palace was good, and the service was very good. The carts were around, and I never had to wait on a cart. Although I love Great Wall but Palace seems to have more dim sum

We went here for some Dim Sum and were greeted right away and shown our seat. Our server came by and got our drink order. The women with the Dim Sum cart came by and we started ordering the different items. All were hot and delicious. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. They also have great Peking Duck. Cannot wait to return.

The food was absolutely amazing. This is where you want to get traditional Chinese foods with a large selection of dishes. I got stir fry scallops garlic and veggie with Chinese broccoli and hoisin sauce. The portion is large and family style, make sure to bring friends and family because I would return.

I wanna preface this by saying I went late on a Sunday and wasn’t aware the dim sum menu would be limited.

All in all it was a pleased experience, friendly staff that answered all my questions and informed me about what the items were in the menu and exactly which dim sum I could have since I’m a pescatarian.

That being said, with the limited menu I was stinky able to get shrimp and scallop dims sum… Which tastes basically the same.

**The friend shrimp balls were very good and had a fried chicken type of crisp that made me happy.

***The vegetables chow mein (pan fried noodles) were so flavorful and I’ve been thinking about them ever since.

I’d definitely consider a second trip to get the full menu.

My family and I went to the restaurant for a try. We were treated rudely and then the waitress never came back to us until we left, she was serving a Cantonese speaking table near us with totally ignored us which was very uncomfortable and irritating. The food was cold and not good, I felt horrible when I left the restaurant. The lesson I learned is choosing a restaurant smartly, and don’t waste your time energy and money on a restaurant like this one.
