The restaurant has a spacious and bright interior with about six round tables that seat eight people, making it perfect for large groups. We tried several dishes:
Roasted Garlic Seafood Fried Rice in a Stone Wok ($18.95)
Sizzling Ginger Oysters ($19.95)
Szechuan Twice Cooked Pork ($18.95)
Each dish was delicious, showcasing the chef’s skill and flair. The oysters were large and plentiful, which was a nice surprise!

We ordered:
Ma Po Tofu ($14.95)
Farmers’ Style Braised Pork ($18.95)
Eggplant & Chicken Sauteed with Salty Fish ($18.95)
Once again, everything was delicious, but personally, I wasn’t a fan of the strong smell of the salty fish in the eggplant dish. However, aside from that, the dish itself was very tasty.
As for Chinese restaurants, at least in my experience, they often have staff who aren’t very friendly (sorry!). However, here, every staff member was smiling and very pleasant.

The food was good, with large portions. The tea shrimp was the best dish. Roasted duck was good, tasty flavors.
The service was okay; it took a while to get someone to help us order our food. However, the boy who helped bring the dishes and refill the tea did a great job!

Fried rice was far from good. We got “chicken” fried rice but the meat was questionable. You can zoom in for yourself it looked under cooked but it was also rubbery and had a squishy texture.
Waitress never checked up on us after dropping off the food so until she brought the check we expressed our concern and she stormed into the kitchen and brought out this container of slimy frozen diced chicken. And said “IT’S FRESH WHITE MEAT CHICKEN”
She still charged us and said it wasn’t her fault. I said we understand I’ll pay for it but we’re never coming back. We left the food there and left.

PC Seafood Restaurant is an absolute delight for seafood enthusiasts! Their menu boasts a variety of delicious dishes, but the fried tofu, pig ear salad, Peking duck, and seafood udon truly stand out. The fried tofu was perfectly crispy, and the pig ear salad was a unique, tasty surprise. The Peking duck melted in our mouths, and the seafood udon was packed with fresh ingredients. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a fantastic seafood experience!

Phoenix City is known to the community as the fresh seafood gem of Portland.
Our family and friends have hosted many dinners & banquets here. Phoenix City never disappoint! In food quality, presentations, and accommodation service. The owners are hard working and the lovely servers are always attentive and beyond helpful. The pictures attached are from one banquet in Feb for Chinese New Year. We met the lady boss a week before the party to discuss the menu. Her prices per table were honest and reasonable, for the quantity and quality. The day came, she delivered just as she’d promised. I really appreciate that. She also allowed me to decorate as I pleased and allowed me to bring in desserts at no extra charge.
I had another rsvp with her in June and the food was perfect once more. We enjoyed every bites of it.
I highly recommend this genuine, cozy restaurant with really good people to take care of you, for your next dinner out or p a r t y. Call ahead to rsvp, ask them for recommendations. I’m so glad I did! cheers!

Hands down, one of the best Chinese restaurants I have come across in the Portland area. They have a substantial menu with so much to choose from, including some items that you can’t just get at any place. I highly recommend the battered green beans as an appetizer, it comes with a delicious spicy mayo. Everything we got tasted fantastic, especially the roasted garlic chicken and the salt and pepper squid. Everything tasted freshly-made and nicely salty. In addition, the service was really good, our waitress was nice, and the food came to us quickly.

The menu offers a wide variety of fresh seafood options, all prepared with bold flavors and traditional techniques, although some were a bit salty to my taste. Service was very attentive.
