Phoebe’s did a fantastic job for our daughter’s baby shower. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was absolutely delicious and served hot. The staff was extremely accommodating and so friendly.. The event planners were so helpful and reassuring through the whole planning process. I highly recommend this venue for a small event!

Whoever Phoebe is, give her my compliments! I had a great time here today after desperately looking for lunch before a college tour. The ambience is incredibly intriguing, with several differently-styled yet homogenous rooms with neat furniture. The main dining area was open and windowed and featured a fascinatingly large bar. However, the food is the shining star. Never have I had a better french onion soup! Usually, the broth is too salty or sweet but this place did it perfectly. It was comforting and delicious, with a perfectly balanced flavor. The bread was somehow still crunchy on the outside which I didn’t know was chemically possible. The cheese on top, crispy and garnished with finely chopped herbs, was divine. What’s more, it wasn’t overridden with onions. I also tasted the caesar salad with dressing that was “smooth, creamy, and bursting with flavor,” as my dining acquaintance put it. “Croutons were great,” she continued. A perfectly done caesar salad if you ask me. Shoutout to our server Morgan who was very nice.

I had another great meal with a friend tonight at Phoebe’s Restaurant. The food was great but I had to truly thank the fabulous waitress/server we had. She said her name is Jennifer Caruana. I definitely wanted to leave a review. My friend & I were truly blessed to have her this evening before going to Syracuse Stage for their show. Many thanks for a great time tonight! See you again soon. Nina

Cool place, great service. The French Onion soup was a hug for my soul. I had the special of the day; Broccoli Quiche with pepper jack cheese. While the quiche was super thick, there wasn’t a hint of pepper jack cheese. It was disappointing because the quiche seems to be one of the foundational dishes. Observing some of the other dishes other patrons ordered, I wish I had chosen something different. Regardless, the Bloody Mary & the bartender were delightful & the atmosphere made up for the meh quiche. Would try this place again.

We went here Saturday for a late valentines day dinner and it was good!
For an app we got the fried artichoke which was delicious!
I started with the brocoli cheddar soup which was a bit disappointing, it was more like blended brocoli broth- not creamy and no chunks of brocoli like I’m used to.
The mains were good, the short rib was delicious and well cooked. The salmon was also well cooked, but the composition with the risotto and cooked greens topped with raw mushrooms was a bit confusing, decent flavor overall.
The creme brulee was very good to finish off.
Service could’ve been better, the server seemed new so I’ll cut her some slack there.
Overall this was a nice experience, the restaurant is beautiful inside and the food is good, we will definitely be putting this into our rotation.

Lovely cafe & restaurant in Syracuse with welcoming staff and good service. I had a delicious French onion soup to start. For the entree I had the salmon dish and asked for medium and to be served with double vegetables instead. The dish was ok, I didn’t really enjoy the flavor of the salsa verde and the fish was cooked well done. However, the plate presentation was really pretty and they did comp a bit off the price since I only ate a few bites. I was still hungry so I ordered the spinach salad, it was tasty. I also ordered a dirty chai with a shot of espresso and I’m fairly certain they forgot the shot because it wasn’t on my bill. Overall, a pretty good meal with a few hiccups but I’d definitely give them another try when I’m in the area.

We held a bridal shower in the Atrium and it was beautiful even on a snowy, grey day in Syracuse! From my first inquiry to final payment everything was professional,
Dine with ease and wonderful. The food was delicious and service very attentive. I would hold another event there without hesitation! Thank you Phoebe’s!

Working at SU, I find myself at Phoebe’s often — and every single visit is delicious. My mom hosted my Baby Sprinkle here this past summer, and it was the perfect venue. The food and service were outstanding, the private room was beautiful, and the team made everything incredibly easy. (Plus, the parking is a true bonus!) Hosting a celebration at Phoebe’s made me appreciate it even more. Highly recommend.
