We absolutely loved the ambiance, very cozy and perfect for enjoying a good conversation. It was our first time trying Vietnamese food, especially pho, so we were quite excited. Even though it was Christmas Day and the place was very busy, it never felt chaotic or overwhelming. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and our time there. The pork ribs were a bit on the tougher side, but the chicken wings were excellent, and the veg pho was decent. Overall, a pleasant experience with a lovely setting. ✨

Authentic Vietnamese pho! The owner is from Ho Chi Minh City, and she truly knows how to make the real thing. I loved the tofu pho with chicken broth — it was absolutely delicious. The presentation was lovely, and the white radish was perfectly soaked with flavor. I’ll definitely try their other location near Boudha Stupa in a few days!

I have been here multiple times as well as the lazimpat location.
Both places have decent food.
But their pork is just too dry n hard to chew.
And their deep fried chicken rolls are about 85% vermicelli noodles, about 10% mushroom, n less than 5% is chicken. One will not be able to taste the chicken. Pretty bad.

Ambience is great. There are lots of seating options. All the food we ordered were good for our taste pallets. All the staffs are very good and friendly. Services are good. They greet you while entering and leaving the restaurant. And plus point there was cat when we visited the place and cat is also friendly.

You’ve got to try the basa with mushrooms and rice, both steamed and grilled, and the chicken wings; they’re awesome. And the Vietnamese coffee was really good too.

Absolutely loved my experience at Pho99 in Jhamsikhel! Every dish we tried was fantastic – the Goi Du Du (papaya salad) was fresh and flavorful, the cold noodles with tofu were super refreshing and well-balanced, and the pork ribs with rice were tender and packed with flavor. Highly recommend all three!
The ambience is also lovely – relaxed, clean, and perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. Definitely one of the best Vietnamese spots in town.
