Pho Vy is fantastic. They had no problem accommodating my severe peanut allergy and the service is fast and extremely friendly. The food is fresh and full of flavour and the prices are very reasonable for the generous portions. The pho broth is rich and comforting, and everything I tried was well prepared. Definitely one of the best Vietnamese spots in Calgary—highly recommend!

This is mine and my husband’s new favourite place to order from! You get so much for the price you pay and it has so much flavour! The staff is so friendly and loved the environment. We tend to order takeout or delivery a lot, but we plan on eating in more if you’ve been on the fence of trying this place please do yourself a favour and do so.

We’ve ordered two pho noodle soups for take out. It came with Thai basil, bean sprouts, lime and hoisin/sriracha sauce. The total price was a little above $32. The soup was rich in flavor and had a strong smell of cardamom- which I loved a lot. On a bad note, my meal had only 6 thin slices of beef in it. Which again was surprising considering such a high price tag. The portion wasn’t big at all comparing to other Vietnamese restaurants in Calgary.
Overall the flavor was great but because of the value it is only 4/5.

I highly recommend the bahn mi in the summer. It’s got flavour, crunch, and fresh veg. Perfect when paired with a beer.

This restaurant is sooo yummy! I highly recommend the chicken salad rolls w/ peanut sauce, and the dumplings. The vermicelli and spring rolls with fish sauce is also very good, so fresh! Their Vietnamese espresso iced coffee was so tasty as well.
The staff is SUPER kind, friendly, and welcoming! The seating is very comfortable, and it feels so homey but fancy at the same time.

I was fortunate enough to be served by Kevin, a lovely young fella, who took my experience from a 10/10 to a 20/10. He was very welcoming and treated me with utmost kindness and respect. The food itself was astonishing and portions were very good for the price. The environment is very peaceful with a modern and fancy design on the interior. I most definitely will be coming back again and trying the rest of their unique menu.

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this Pho Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered rice, but they gave me noodles instead. The bag was sealed, so I didn’t realize the mistake until I got to my car. I immediately went back inside — not even 2 minutes later — to ask for a replacement.
Instead of acknowledging their mistake, the staff accused me of opening the food and refused to help.
” Did you open it? Did you touch it?” I explained that the only way to find out the order was wrong was by opening the wrapped container, but they still refused to take responsibility.
Their attitude was extremely disrespectful and dismissive. I also couldn’t help but feel that I was being treated unfairly compared to other customers — the tone and behavior toward me felt racist, discriminatory and unwelcoming.
No customer deserves to be spoken to or treated this way. I will not be returning and I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone who expects honesty, respect, or basic customer service.

Pho Vy is a nice neighborhood joint, perfect for a quiet meal with the family. Food quality is alright but rather expensive – we’d pay a third of the price back in Alabang for Vietnamese dishes with fresher ingredients. Nevertheless, it’s worth a try while in SE Calgary but will check other Vietnamese options next time.

My Sister and myself have eaten there many times. When I make the trip from Atlanta, we always go there. The food is excellent. Priced reasonably, nice ambience and great service. I had the seafood #13 dish with vermicelli noodles. Absolutely delicious Lots of choices for every palate. Try them out.
