I feel like this was an American take on a traditional Vietnamese dish. I found the broth to be non-flavorful there was nothing memorable about it. I give it a solid, three out of five just for the simple fact that there was nothing that stood out in my experience here.
Generous portions, wonderful flavor.
Shrimp and spring rolls were light and flavorful.
Staff were very kind and accommodating.
Will be back 🙂
the spring roll appetizer I found the peanut sauce very odd almost at gelatinous consistency almost like snot and had absolutely no peanut did not like it the spring rolls where good tho. They only had Corona and Modelo beer options I thought I was a little strange that only had Latino beer they need to sell Tsingtao!!!!! Man its so . When you walked into this place you can smell the pho both cooking
thanks for reading my review
Service was excellent and the man running the front was extremely kind. Now onto the food:
The meat was delicious. I got the Pho Dac Biet, which has beef tenderloin, flank, fatty brisket, tendon, tripe, and balls of meat (I would say this is different than a meatball). Each piece of meat was extremely flavorful and juicy. I was VERY impressed!
With that said, the pho itself was a bit lacking in flavor. The meat more than made up for it, but I wish the soup had more flavor for sure. Next time, I’ll get a spicy dish and see if that helps
It’s also worth noting that portion sizes are HUGE, which is great if you want bang for your buck. With that said, it costs 50 cents for a to-go bowl
I was blown away by the amazing service I received. The staff was so friendly and attentive, making sure my dinner experience was top-notch.
The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you get. The flavors in the dishes were authentic and delicious, they have one of the best chili oils made in home.
So happy to have such a good Viet restaurant in Antelope
