When I first walked in to this restaurant, I almost slipped on the floor. The floor had that greasy spoon, diner slickness to it.
Which I’m surprised no one has taken a tumble yet.
I ordered the shrimp summer rolls. Which were good.
I also ordered pho.
When my pho arrived, the broth was lukewarm to me.
So I asked the waiter, if they could please heat it up more.
I waited over 10 mins.
I’m assuming they just heated my bowl in the microwave, because none of the items were out of place (bean sprouts, basil etc).
Which is fine, I only care that my soup was hotter.
So if they used a microwave, why was I waiting over 10 mins?
They were not busy. Only 2 other tables were dining there.
Also, just seemed like the place is run by a bunch of young kids.
Standing around, on their phones.
Whick look, we all had to start somewhere right?
I don’t know. I just didn’t like the vibe, or the service I received.
The portion size was pretty awesome tho.
I feel like at some Vietnamese restaurants, the pho bowls are getting smaller.

This pho the dining room really spacious.
Food was really good.
Has parking lot so didn’t need to worry about parking on the street.
All workers were friendly and helpful.
We even ordered pork chops to go the only thing that I didn’t expect the pork chops were boneless and chops to small pieces which I didn’t really want it that way.
Would like to try the Vietnamese sandwich next time visit.

Y’all know I do the Phó Taí reviews, but something else caught my eye this time around… filet mignon Phó?? I HAD to try it!!! So glad I did, was the most tender, juicy, savory meat in a that classic beef bone broth. Noodles were clearly the mass produced kind, but I’m used to that, so didn’t really make too big a difference to me, overall. It’s all about the freshness of the veggies, the deep rich flavors in the broth, and the quality of the meat, and this was QUITE good!! The summer rolls were pretty good, just disappointed to only see 2 (halves) of shrimp, as opposed to the usual 3. They had my fave kind of peanut sauce, more peanut than hoisin! Def coming back to try more dishes! Amazing Flan for dessert, and they have a kids menu w healthy options at smaller portions. Portions overall are very nice!! Atmosphere kind of tight, set up like a cantina hall, but they were quite busy for a sunday; says all ya need to know! Highly recommend!!

Had an issue of a group discriminating me a table away near me. The waiter did not bother to genuinely check and ask how I’m doing clearly. So, I feel I had lost most of my appetite. The takeout food does taste good once I chill down at home, so that’s something.
