This Vietnamese pho restaurant turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The shop itself is not very large and doesn’t have many seats, but the tables are fairly spacious, making the dining experience comfortable despite the limited seating.

We started with a special pho and a pork chop with dry vermicelli. Both dishes were quite reasonable in taste and quality. The pho broth was warm and comforting, with a balanced flavor, while the noodles and toppings were fresh. The pork chop vermicelli was also satisfying, featuring tender grilled pork served over vermicelli noodles with fresh vegetables.
Later, we decided to try a Vietnamese submarine (bánh mì), and this turned out to be the highlight of the meal. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just as a good bánh mì should be. The filling was warm and flavorful, and the pickled vegetables added a refreshing crunch and tangy contrast.

We also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee, which was well-prepared, strong, and nicely balanced in sweetness.

Overall, the food was simple, satisfying, and well-made. Despite the shop being relatively small with limited seating, it delivers solid Vietnamese comfort food, and it’s definitely a place we would visit again.

Vietnamese small shop, most famous is satay beef noodle. I don’t know if this satay is real Vietnamese special thing, but effect is not bad. Coconut milk taste very strong, good to eat.
Satay soup is the main star here, they very proud of it. I think they use quite many amount of MSG. After eat finish, go back home half day still feel very thirsty. But I not blame them, actually I don’t mind go eat again. Just not go all the time.
This is very high level skill. If use MSG is bad thing, mean they treat you bad, but you still cannot leave them, you still loyal and never give up. This kind of relationship is truly the highest level.
They make me thirsty, I still miss them. Maybe I have problem, not the restaurant.

Tried this casual local place on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! The service was fast, and friendly from the moment I walked in. The noodles were wonderfully cooked, and the pho broth was light and slightly sweet, yet still instilled in flavor—comforting and well-balanced. Overall, a satisfying, no-fuss meal that really hit the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Excellent quality Lemongrass grilled pork chop rice. (Have grilled chicken in photo because we two people go, one orders pork another has chicken, we share and exchange one piece of each) You can feel the real grilling meat taste.

Beef in the Pho is so so; the broth is with great taste extracted from beef, bone etc, very refreshing.

Clean environment and utensils, restaurant averagely, nicely decorated.

We love it here. Worth the drive from the Fraser Valley for the best saté broth. Don’t expect VIP service or fancy interiors. Go for the food.

Amazing place! Came with a group of 8 and they were able to find us space quickly. Service was amazing, food came out fast. You do have to go up to the till to pay, which we didn’t know at first.

So we came to try the famous number 16, and I can say it was worth the hype. The broth was amazing. It was well balanced and super addictive. The spring rolls were good too. Worth going to, not just a hype train. I even ordered the Satay Pho 3 days later, with chicken tho, not as good.

Had a wonderful meal at Pho Tan. The food was fresh, comforting, and full of flavor. What really made the experience stand out was the owner. Friendly, funny, and genuinely attentive in a way that made the whole experience even better. He was awesome. You can tell they care about both the food and the people who walk through the door. Will definitely be back.

Took my gf on Sunday before she leaves to attend her dad’s funeral, she order the house special pho that seemed good, however I ordered the stir fry with seafood and it was more like a bed of rice with some soaked water, it wasnt stir fried at all.

I didnt even eat a 1/4 of the dish, that was very disappointing as I was super hungry.

As far as the staff, the girl offered us tea or water but never once came back to ask if we needed refills.

The bill was $40 I still left a tip.
