If you’re craving comfort, this is hands down one of the most flavorful bowls of pho you’ll find anywhere in Metro Detroit ✨ The broth alone is a standout, perfectly balanced salinity with a deep, savory aroma that warms you from the first sip.
The beef was exceptional You can immediately tell it’s a high-quality cut, incredibly fresh, and prepared with care.
We also treated ourselves to the coconut coffee ☕️ and it was a delightful surprise. Rich, smooth, and slightly indulgent, it paired beautifully with such a satisfying meal.
The space itself is spacious and relaxed making it an easy place to settle in. Service was warm and welcoming from start to finish I already can’t wait to come back. Truly delicious in every way ✨

Another weekend food adventure with my husband, this time at Viet Thái Restaurant Phở Tài. This trip was to make up for our last unsuccessful attempt at finding authentic Vietnamese flavors.
Our experience:
Pork Chop and Egg with Rice: The pork chop was a bit thin and the seasoning was just okay, nothing special. The biggest letdown was the egg—it should have been a steamed egg to pair properly with broken rice.
Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Beef Noodle Soup): The broth was quite spicy (a heads-up for those who can’t handle heat), but it lacked the deep, aromatic flavor that defines a true Bun Bo Hue. The pork knuckle portion was also quite small.
Downside:
The restaurant does not have WiFi, which can be a bit inconvenient.
Upsides:
The staff was quite friendly, attentive, and quick.
The place was clean and tidy.
The rice meal came with a small bowl of soup, a nice touch.
Verdict:
Based on this experience, we’d rate it as OK/AVERAGE. It might hit the spot if you’re looking for a quick, filling meal, but if you’re on a quest for rich, authentic Vietnamese taste, your journey might need to continue.

Food was good overall. No real complaints besides not carrying chicken satay. Crab Wonton was excellent and different breading from what I’m use to with crab Rangoon. Seasoned inside and the breading was fluffy & dense. Wasn’t a fan of the dressing for the Vermicelli bowl #15 I had. Healthy choice minus the deep fried egg roll! Prices were decent and affordable. Staff extremely helpful providing recommendations. Would recommend checking out this place. Will be back for the crab cheese wonton.
