This is one of my favorite pho spot in SGV. Today I went there and realized that they have expanded. They took over next door and removed the wall. The place has been remodeled and painted the walls light green. The whole interior now looks bigger and brighter.
I always order #15 pho which is a combination of steaks with tendons and tripes. There’s a lot of meat and the broth and the broth was tasty. They increased the price of hot jamine tea from $0.5 to $1 but since it’s refillable, it’s still very good deal.
The dessert at the end is always a nice little sweet ending to the meal. I don’t know of any other pho place that actually give you free dessert. That’s one of the reasons why this is one of my favorite place for pho.
Parking is never a problem as they have a big lot and you can even park on the street. The staff there are friendly and quick to turn over tables. I always feel satisfied after eating here.
We ended up being super satisfied!
My party is quite picky and particular about quality and taste of food (we’re comparing to pho in OC/heavily populated Viet places), and they all thought it was good. I’d happily come back for more.
This place serves one of the worst Shrimp Spring Rolls I’ve had. You can refer to the picture included on this review. The Spring Roll consisted of 95% noodles, 1 piece of lettuce and tiny pieces of shrimp.
The Chicken Skewers were awful as well. They came out cold and looked extremely unappetizing.
The rice dish was mediocre. The restaurant could have at least cut the shrimp cake or served the dish with the traditional “Com Tam” Broken rice.
Although the service wasn’t bad and parking was easy, I was really unhappy with my experience here. The Dessert was free, but they should have just kept that in the kitchen. I won’t be coming back here.
The egg rolls are so so so so so so good! They have taro stuffed in the egg roll that made the texture creamy with each bite! Definitely recommend having the egg rolls!
Also very surprised by seeing others adding more soup as they eat, I am assuming it’s complementary?
When we asked for the check, they gave us free desserts also!! It tasted really good…
Must give a 5 star for a pho place like this! Can really feel the heart and details being put into the dishes!!!!
Would love to go back again like tomorrow!
We went around 1 pm today, and there were line ups all the way until 2 something… So the place is busy!!!
Super worth it!
