The pho was loaded with meat and only $19 – such great value for money!
The crispy pork spring rolls were packed with filling and super delicious.
Everything tasted very authentic. Highly recommend!

We decided to try the local Vietnamese restaurant Pho Sho and have returned again this time for takeaways and been just as happy with the food as the first times we dined in. Sure the restaurant dining area could be better….. though it is what it is and it’s all about the food, and it’s a 5/5 for tasty, good value, flavoursome dishes. We especially like the Roast Pork Pho and Beef Pho. We’ll return again for both dine in and takeout.

The food is perfect. A bit big for me thought, tried the Bun Bo and bubble milk tea. Highly recommended for authentic Vietnamese food. Will come back if pass through the area.

Smaller place with smaller tables,i bet pretty close to Vietnamese restaurant experience, food was very good and authentic to Vietnamese cuisine, you ordering your order on big tablet screen which worked very well too.

Cute little place with high quality food.

Nice drinks. Reasonably priced chicken pho. Note that the chicken pho is actually shredded chicken on a beef broth instead of chicken broth. Even though I was expecting a chicken broth, the broth was still pretty nice but was quite salty. Generous portions.

Would recommend the lychee green tea with coconut jelly.

i tried the roasted pork bahn mi & it was immediately disappointing. the vegetables were cut too thick, the bread cold, yet crunchy & then the roasted pork was just overcooked, but crisp. i had ordered a cream brule with coconut jelly, instead, they added both coconut jelly & brown sugar jelly balls — apart from that, the drink was really delicious & tasty. i think bahn mi tastes much better when vegegtables are as thin as possible, that way it doesn’t taste like veggies with a side of pork/preferable meat.

MUST TRY IF YOU’RE IN WELLINGTON! Best Vietnamese restaurant in Wellington!!!
My family love Phở, Bún bò, rice with grilled pork and chicken curry. My kids even eat 2 meals at once.
Drinks are super good as well. In love with matcha with salted cream and bubble tea. Will try others next time, sound real good!!!

Decided to try after all the rave reviews. The place was slightly busy when we arrived for dinner with more takeouts than dining in. Only 3 tables were filled (including us) and we had to occupy a table with plates leftover from a previous customer. It’s pretty much self service here, from helping yourself to the menu, ordering your own food via the kiosk, water/cups and sauces. When our food arrived, those dirty dishes on our table were not removed which was disappointing as it wouldn’t take long to clear as it’s already been stacked. The sticky chicken wings were fantastic, had the slightly crispy edge and extremely fragrant. Summer rolls and bao bun were ok as well. The dish to stay away from would be the Saigon grill pork on rice. The pork looks like it was precooked and only reheated upon ordering as it was extremely dry and I didn’t end up finishing it. Even with some sauce added, it wasn’t fixable or should I say…edible. Lemongrass chicken and beef noodle soup was average and nothing to rave about. It was our first time there so might be a one off so happy to try again if I’m at Upper Hutt. My all time favourite would still be the Vietnamese Restaurant and Cafe in Petone.
