When I enter the doors of a cultural restaurant I immediately audit who’s feasting and count how folks like me are there. If I have to wait an hour and no one looks like me that’s the first green flag. If I see a group of kids doing homework in the corner, I think back to watching my grandma wait on tables as kid at the counter. Seeing that gives me potential legendary vibes. I’ve never been to Asia but I’m working on it. So when my friend invited me to Pho Saigonese ( @pho_saigonese ) I knew it was legit.
Normally she picks the full menu, but if I see something I have to try, I add it to the stack. Everything about this spot was fire, perfectly prepared ( according to her, I had no idea, but it tasted legendary ). The service was fast too, even though they didn’t have many tables. When I finally make it to Asia I’m eating all the things, the bugs on sticks, the partially fertilized eggs, all of it. I know I’ll get sick. That’s part of making the memory.

Amazing authentic saigoneae meal with great service and atmosphere! Not like other overhyped restaurants in Vegas, the pho is amazing but the real star of the meal is the Viet rice rolls with grilled pork for us. Shaking beef and beef stew are both wonderful too. Trey our server is so nice and easy to chat with! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hearty no frills Viet meal❤️

Got the square crab spring rolls and combo pho. The pho noodles were perfectly cooked, great broth and good amount of high quality meat. The spring rolls were excellent. Also got the lychee green tea it was very good.

Edit: Came back and tried the papaya salad and bun bo hue. The papaya was cut into uniform and thin slivers for the perfect texture and the thin slices of pork belly and lightly cooked shrimp added the perfect amount of heartiness and ever so slight richess. The peanuts were very coarse and the chili sauce was just the right amount of sweet, sour and spicy.
The bun bu hue wasn’t too spicy with a nice funkiness and had a generous portion of meats and noodles.

We tried the Banh Mi sandwich here and ended up coming back the very next week because we couldn’t stop talking about it. The smoky flavor is incredible, the meat is super tender, and the bread is perfectly crispy on the outside while still soft and doughy inside. Hands down the best Banh Mi we’ve had in Vegas.
I also tried the pho and the spring rolls — both were fresh, flavorful, and just as impressive. We’re already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.

We ordered the house vermicelli with lemongrass chicken, and it was the standout. The chicken was tender with a balanced char and bright lemongrass flavor. The bowl was fresh, well-composed, and not overly heavy. Good texture contrast with the herbs and noodles.
The Hoi An chicken was flavorful and comforting. The seasoning was subtle but well layered, and the chicken was cooked properly without drying out. It leaned more delicate than bold, which worked.
Service from Jillian was attentive and professional. She checked in at the right times and kept everything moving smoothly without being intrusive.
Overall, the food felt thoughtful and consistent. Not flashy — just well done. I’d order both again.

This was one of the best experiences me and my friends had in Vegas, it’s always fun to try something new and expand your palate. They give a great portion size on everything they serve. Me and my friends were extremely full and didn’t get to finish our Pho. The broth of the pho was amazing and very very flavorful. If we come back to Vegas this will definitely be our must go spot. Trey the manager was our waiter and he took his time explaining everything to us with joy and excitement. You can tell he love his job and that is the best customer service you can get. Definitely add this to your Vegas itinerary if you are here, you will not be disappointed.

Great Pho spot in the area. We came late right before closing on a weekday so the restaurant was not packed and we were seated right away. Staff were very accommodating and attentive at all times. The food met my expectations and I look forward to more future visits.
