First visit. The restaurant looks tidy and clean. The wall drawings are hand painted so quite unique. The food is not salty which is hard to find. However the deep fried spring rolls have an interesting texture. They are crunchy but chewy and look yellow brownish. Not sure if it’s the oil temperature not right or have used the same oil for too many times. I’m definitely not a big fan of this spring roll. The lemongrass chicken tastes okay. They do not seem to cook freshly but pre-cooked and stayed in a warmer as the chicken is on the dry and overcooked side.

I’d give this place 10 stars if I could! The owners are so warm and welcoming, the food is always fresh and hot and delicious.
It’s my favourite place to go in the West End when I need some healthy fresh comfort food.

A little gem that feels like your secret spot — clean, quick, and full of flavor. People say it’s never busy, and that might be because Denman and Robson are packed with options. But honestly? This place holds its own.
Service was friendly and attentive. Food came fast, and the pho… wow. That aroma when the bowl landed? Heaven.
Why I’ll Be Back:
Delicious, no-fuss comfort food in a chill space. Also: that peanut sauce. Come on.

I ate there a couple times some time ago and food was fine, however, they recently changed their menu and removed a whole bunch of items,and only left what they called “the most popular” dishes. Not sure if it was a good idea to be honest. Because what I tried ( soup with lemongrass chicken) was fine but not the dish I was actually planning on getting.
The staff are very friendly though and the restaurant seems very clean. I just wish they brought back all the usual Vietnamese dishes.

Haven’t had such tasty pho in a hot minute. I ordered the chicken pho and it came out in around 10 minutes. It was full of flavour, they weren’t shy in the chicken portion and the ingredients tasted super fresh. I will definitely be back!

I used to love this place. But tonight I ordered a seafood dish and the mussel had seaweed sticking out of it, my husband put it aside. Then after we ate, he inspected it and the vegetation was completely lodged inside the body/mouth of the mussel. Really realllly weird. Btw, it was not the beard of the muscle, there was a bunch of seaweed/vegetation inside.
This likely means that the clam was likely dead before cooking, and it could have made someone severely ill.
They saw seaweed sticking out of the mouth of this mussel, cooked it and served it to me. I cannot trust the cook here anymore. They put profits in front of safety.
My last bite of noodle had a faint taste of dish soap, they serve room temp tap water. My dish said it had egg, but there never is.
The food is not cheap. Yet, they skimp and treat customers like. there is serious lack of quality here. It’s dangerous imo. It sucks, I’ll never go back.
I took a picture of my dish because I love it. And looking back, I noticed that they had COVERED the seaweed sticking out with a fish patty. How positively disgusting. The chef should be ashamed of putting money before safety of PAYING CUSTOMERS.

I wish I could say Cảm ơn and always love to support local businesses. However, a dinner haul via UberEats of Cơm (Bún) Xào Đậu Hủ Rau Cải (Stir Fried Tofu and Vegetables on Rice) was hugely disappointing. Excessively coated in oil and what I can therefore only describe as “gloopy”, evident from a rushed and lack of attention to detail and flavor. After explicitly asking, they didn’t even add any fresh chillis for a spicy flavor which again shows this was a rushed job, at 5pm which isnt busy I’d really expert much better value for money. The measley portion of tofu was also mostly skin than any of the Tofu itself.

Amazing food, friendly service from the owner Danny, and refreshing drinks, and clean environment! You gotta try the “Hanoi Style Grilled Pork with Vermicelli”. So so so good. Will bring friends here for a dinner soon.

Some trade workers coming out as we were going in rated this place as average and I have to agree. The food was nothing special. The spring roll was rather anemic looking. The service was ok and the restaurant seemed clean. Since the price point and menu was comparable to other pho places, I would try one of the many other pho places near by next time.
