I’ve been on the hunt for good bagels in Long Island bagels and this place is pretty solid. I’d heard it is good and when I saw it on Uber eats as my husband was craving bagels I decided we should give it a try!
I was excited to see they have a lox scallion cream cheese option because sliced lox with scallion cream cheese separately is expensiveeee. This was a great alternative and I added a tomato. I got that on an egg everything bagel toasted and was happy with what I got!
The bagel itself was a softer dough compared to some other places but it still had a good body to it (i.e. t didn’t deflate completely when you bite into it). There was a good bagel to cream cheese ratio and the cream cheese wasn’t bland which is something I look out for.
I would give this bagel a solid 8/10
AS A REPLY TO THE OWNER – the picture was 1/2 of the bagel that was purchased (for descriptive purposes) and it was a full not a mini. It was loaded with cream cheese and the lox were limited. I stand by the 90/10 %. The lox is discolored around the ends, & while the pic may lack some clarity I have no reason to say it if not true.
THE FACT THAT YOU CHOSE TO REPLY IN A MANNER THAT YOU DID (TRYING TO DISCREDIT MY EXPERIENCE) TELLS ME ALOT ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS ACUMEN & INDICATES TO ME THAT MY DECISION TO NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN IS THE CORRECT DECISION.
There are simply better local options.
Sure, it’s a deli—but don’t let that fool you. My Three Sons Bagel Café runs like a well-oiled machine. Even when the place is hopping, they keep things moving with zero chaos and total confidence. You’ll be in and out with a fresh, delicious bagel before you can even check your texts.
And let’s talk about those bagels: every single one hits the mark. Fresh, flavorful, and made just how you like it. Bonus points for the fact that the person who takes your order is the same one who makes it—meaning fewer mistakes, faster service, and no sad surprises when you unwrap your sandwich.
The staff is on it. Friendly, focused, and clearly invested in getting your order right the first time. Plenty of parking, zero hassle, and none of that all-too-common “wait… this isn’t what I ordered” disappointment.
Bottom line? My Three Sons isn’t just a deli—it’s the real deal. Give them a shot, especially if you’re tired of playing deli roulette.
Now the issue here was…..I may not have been satisfied if I didn’t watch and check the people. The young lady opened my banana maybe 5-7 minutes before the French toast was ready….and flies were landing and coming back. So when the lady was about to put that old banana, I had to say No.. New banana or No banana. They cut a fresh one and solved.
The potato salad given to me as a side to my sandwich dish was a fail, but they easily replaced with a chips when it did not taste well. The sandwich was also good.
The Raspberry lemonade was delicious. So in total… I would say, I am satisfied, but maybe I will order in store always to keep an eye…and only this location do I approve. Because I tried the Covert location after and their French Toast was so dry.
Will I be back? Yes…they mastered that Banana Foster dish. Even with the hiccup, I was pleased.
Patricia, the manager, was phenomenal in helping me place the order. She was upfront and honest about portions, and the pricing was exactly as listed on the catering menu online. The delivery was handled by Wilmer, who went above and beyond. He not only delivered the food but also helped set up our break room and was incredibly friendly throughout the process.
The food itself was a huge hit! Everything was fresh, perfectly portioned, and absolutely delicious. My team couldn’t stop raving about it. Honestly, if I could give this place more than five stars, I would. The quality and consistency of My Three Sons truly stand out, and no other deli compares.
I’ve already recommended them to colleagues and drug reps, and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again in the future. Thank you for always exceeding expectations!
I’ve given this place more than enough try’s to like it and get a better taste in my mouth for the individuals whom work behind the counter but i’ve truly only had one great interaction with an employee there. The woman with the black hair and tattoos is by far the most sweetest outgoing employee there. You can see she is NOT LAZY. All other employees make things up as they go and make their own rules is pathetic. Where is the owner of this business ?? It seems to be self ran by the employees themselves because this is not the same place that i knew a couple years back. It is a mess and the food is a mess. The bagels are incredible but the cooking is awful by the employees.
It’s extremely unfortunate that the employees at the nassau blvd location are lazy and cut corners resulting in terrible reviews and terrible tasting food. The audacity to ruin a businesses reputation in a wealthy & high consumer area is very sad.
My fiancé ordered a BEC and the bacon was RAW on some pieces. This is absolutely unacceptable and completely unsanitary serving people raw food. This place needs a serious revaluation and the owner needs to take charge and read how negative these reviews are before hiring employees that are lazy and get too comfortable serving half raw food and not even being able
to butter a bagel !!!! The amount of times I have ordered a bagel with butter and all i’ve tasted was bread is enough to be unable to count on both of my hands. –
This is a very fast paced business and extremely busy but that doesn’t give any employee the green light to slack in the food industry and serve uncooked raw food or not meeting the services standards that businesses 10x more busy meet on a regular basis. If you are unable to serve food meeting protocol (unless someone asks for RARE bacon) then do not take it upon yourself to serve such a things without considering potential health consequences. Ultimately if you’re unable to serve decent food when rush occurs you probably don’t belong in the food industry considering the amount of stress that comes with rushes and a fast pace environment.
To the owner – you need to reevaluate this location because it’s disgusting considering i am paying as a consumer for a great place i once loved to now throwing my breakfast in the trash because its raw and tastes terrible.
