The broth in all the soups that I have tried here are delicious, and different. I love the freshness and quality of the ingredients.

The soup was just ok. It doesn’t taste like the original recipe. The meats were tough, not soft and tender.
Customer service was below average. While the female servers were friendly, the male server seemed like he didn’t want to work. They were not attentive either.
The restaurant was clean and fresh but it lacked of Vietnamese pictures and music.
The cuts of meat tasted freezer burnt and overall was just awful. The redemption was the server who was friendly, but overall I can’t see going back.
(Granted this experience was on a Tuesday at opening)
To dig a little deeper, it broth lacked oils, spices and any flavor. I would argue that if you took a beef bullion cube and put it in two quarts of water, you’d arrive at the same quality of flavor. Pho is generally complex, warm, lightly savory. The spices really come out in a broth and create the fragrant experience mostly everyome craves on a cold virginia day. And it was just not there. Massively disappointing.
2021 I usually get the seafood pho or the seafood with fried egg noodles dish. I have tried that duck rice soup, and other dishes. Today I wanted something different and didn’t see anything that stands out… until my friend pointed out the caramel pork ribs. I am so glad I got it!! It was delicious! The pork ribs has a sweet flavor because of the caramel and spicy at the same time because the sauce was filled with dried crush red pepper flakes. I can’t wait to go back and ordered this dish again. When you are done, just walk to the back and pay at the register. The employees are reserve and not friendly, but professional.
Pho number1 is worth coming to.
I liked the menu and found it very easy to understand.
The Dining Room is spacious and had more tables and chairs then any Pho restaurant I’ve been to in the area.
This was my first visit here and will definitely be coming back.
Definitely a good spot to get Pho. If I’m close to the area, this is one of my go to places in Springfield when I’m craving a good bowl of Pho soup.
The Food: My go to bowl of Pho is the Pho Tai. The meat is always nicely cooked when it touches the broth and the broth flavor itself is delicious. The portion is nicely sized so you won’t be leaving here with wanting more to eat. However, when paired with some crispy spring rolls or Cha Gio, for appetizers, you can’t go wrong.
The Service: The service is always good here. When walking in, the staff greet you to an available seat almost immediately and they try to get your orders in/out as soon as possible. Place is clean and the food is always good.
Overall, a 4/5!
