We enjoy their other two Ngoc Yen restaurants near the airport and in Etobicoke. This newer one downtown is quite large, with same great food. The Signature tower appetizer very good (delicious chicken wings, etc.), except of the ribs with five spice quite dry. The seafood noodle soup very good, but breading on the soft shell crab rather thick. The veal chop with mushrooms tasty as well. Overall, food was very good. Quick friendly service, thank you!

Love this restaurant – everything is great! It’s very cozy inside with lots of seating. Came here on a Friday night and no need to wait. We ordered three dishes and love them all!

Veal chop is great – the highlight is the mushrooms!! Sooooo flavourful

And the fried sticky rice is very unique and yummy too!! Same with the beef ribs tho!

Would love to come back again and try other dishes!

Our first time trying Vietnamese cuisine, the experience was amazing! We obviously needed some help from the waiter who guided us through the menu and helped us pick our items. The food was full of flavour, and the portions were huge! We also ordered drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic and everyone loved them. The owner also visited our table, super cool guy. Definitely recommend the place to anyone looking to try Vietnamese food!

Absolutely my favourite pho restaurant in downtown. I will always recommend this spot to anyone looking for pho downtown.

The pho here is fragrant and deeply flavourful but my absolute favourite detail is how they serve their rare beef in the pho. The beef is sliced just a bit thicker than most places so a nice chew is maintained. The beef balls are also a little more homestyle feeling than the regular beef balls you find in pho.

The pate with roasted garlic was also amazing and I would definitely come back just for that.

The restaurant is massive so despite how busy it always seems, you can almost always get a seat without a reservation.

I’ve been meaning to go here and I’m glad I finally did. The restaurant is a lot bigger than I’d imagined and so busy. It’s no wonder because everything we ordered was delicious. We got the chicken pho, rare beef salad and broken rice with chicken and pork chop, as well as sugarcane juice. Service was friendly and efficient. Our server, Nora, was great. I will definitely be back to try the many other dishes.

One of my favorite meals in Toronto! This downtown spot has a wonderful, cozy atmosphere and the staff is so kind. I loved the unique seafood soup options on the menu. The portions for the noodle soups are very generous—come hungry! The spring rolls are air-fried (healthier, though I personally prefer the traditional deep-fry), but the rest of the meal was flawless. Can’t wait to return!

What impressed me most after walking in was the ambiance. The restaurant is spacious and tastefully designed, with thoughtful Christmas decorations, comfortable velvet seating, and relaxing background music. It feels calm and inviting.

We ordered B19 fish cake vermicelli and MN14 pomelo squid salad. Both dishes were light, refreshing, and well balanced, with a clean sweet-and-sour profile , very healthy and easy to enjoy, especially if you prefer brighter flavors.

We have small appetites and, as usual, finished one dish and packed most of the salad to go. If you’re looking for more variety, it might be a good idea to swap one dish for a soup-based noodle option. That said, we liked the food enough that we’d happily come back to try other items on the menu.

A nice extra touch: the washrooms are individual private stalls, very clean and comfortable.

One more tip : 10% off if you pay with cash.

What a decision to come here for dinner! We visited on Sunday evening and got the best of everything, food , service, ambience and taste!!!
Definitely recommend trying this restaurant to everyone who loves Vietnamese flavours. For us the must try items were the BBQ Chicken and the spicy beef and pork broth with noodles! What flavours! The service was quick, we got seated immediately and got our orders soon enough as well. The jasmine tea on the table is a good choice for the cold winter along with their warm pho broth. Definitely going to come back to try more of their dishes. This place is an 11/10 for us!

I ordered Bún Bò Huế because I’ve been craving something spicy and comforting — and wow, it definitely hit the spot! It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a subtle sweetness. I’ve had Bún Bò Huế before, but this one stood out. It wasn’t too spicy, yet it didn’t disappoint at all. I also asked to switch my noodles to rice noodles, and they gladly accommodated my request.
The interior design is superb — modern, cozy, and beautiful both inside and out.

The service was on point! The staff were attentive and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. They were quick, polite, and everything came out promptly.

You have to try their Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk — super strong with a nice hint of cocoa. Absolutely loved it!

Overall, totally worth the price. A great experience from start to finish!

From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I felt very comfortable here. After being seated, the server was very helpful, even moving my friend and I to a larger table to accommodate the amount of food we were about to order.

The food here was incredible and plentiful. The flavours fresh and vibrant. I had the special beef Pho and let me tell you, the broth (IMHO the soul of the pho) was so delicious. The lotus root & coconut salad had great texture with just the right amount of dressing. The wings and dry ribs were cooked and seasoned perfectly.

All-in-all, an excellent experience. A big thumbs up to all the staff at Pho Ngoc Yen 3. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes next time.
