Easily the most alluring Vietnamese place in the city at the moment! With that said, Mr. Q is a delightful little pho spot with a cozy atmosphere and freshly prepared dishes. The prices are pleasantly surprising given the quality and generous portion sizes. I’d recommend the Pho Saté, the mixed barbecue platter (serves two), and a few appetizers—we tried the shrimp salad rolls. That said, the menu is extensive and offers something for just about everyone. Definitely recommended and something to return to. There’s a small wait during busy lunch and dinner hours on the weekend.

Busy restaurant serving very good Vietnamese food. They have a surprisingly huge menu with lots of selection. It was neat that they have a banh mi station so that you can see the Vietnamese subs being prepared. All the items that we ordered were very tasty. 2 thumbs up. Service was very good. The restaurant was quite full during our visit and where we sat it was pretty tight. Located in a shopping centre there’s lots of free parking.

By far the best Vietnamese restaurant in Canada outside of Vietnam.
I have been traveling to Vietnam for many years, and this place is truly comparable to what you experience there. The food is exceptional, authentic, and beautifully executed. The menu is far more extensive and refined than a typical Vietnamese restaurant, with depth, variety, and thoughtful details throughout.
On top of the food, the atmosphere stands out. Modern Vietnamese design, stylish, warm, and inviting, which elevates the entire dining experience. Every visit feels intentional and elevated, not casual or generic.
Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates authentic Vietnamese cuisine done at a very high level.

-Food is delicious and prices are fair.
-Washrooms big and relatively clean.
Cons:
-Quite busy on Friday evening which is not necessarily a con but there was a long line and the waiting area looked uncomfortably packed (suffering from success!).
-Table layout is understandably on the cramped side.
-It seems that not all the staff there speaks English which affects overall service especially during rush hours. However, the actual service people were friendly.
Overall still 5/5 as we would return for the great food. They also have some discounts during happy hour.

Service, Food, Price and Portion were amazing!! Delicious. Only one thing to comment on is the meat on the pho (second pic) when my bf got to the middle of the meat he said it tasted super salty, not sure why because the broth is not salty at all. But will definitely be back and reccomend this place!! Ty!!

First time trying Pho Mr. Q. Unfortunately, our first order came with a hair in it, but the staff replaced it (not sure if it was remade). The space is quite tight and the chairs were a bit low for me. That said, the food itself tasted great.

The food is really good I highly reccomenddd and the service is really good aswell Edward was very sweet and was very quick to refill our water and aswell as the dishes, very chill dude . I definitely recommend this restaurant it was very quick, the wait was about 5- 10min after we ordered our food. The menu was very good aswell we got the curry soup and it was 10/10 Another thing we got is beef ribs sate soup 10/10 their noodles is not too soggy or too undercooked it was just right. Very busy spot on a Friday evening but insanely awesome service. Small wait to get in but no wait for your food. This was a “TikTok Try” which usually means it could go either way but the food here is absolutely spectacular. Incredibly hot, fresh and flavourful. If you want some amazing Pho please don’t look anywhere else and stop in sometime. You will not be disappointed

We’re a real fan of Vietnamese food and this is a hidden gem in Calgary. Every ingredients is fresh and the taste is superb!!! We will be back!! Hopefully they can improve the sanitation of the place as it smells off. Our server is nice but chewing gum when serving.
