Right off the main road this makes for an easy and great pit stop on a road trip. It wasn’t difficult to find and since it’s part of the strip mall there was plenty of parking around.
Stopped in on a Monday afternoon. We expected it to be completely empty but there were 2 other tables of groups eating. A nice clean space and bathrooms.
Staff were very friendly and brought out ice waters right away. We ordered the B11 Peanut Satay Chicken Noodle Soup ($15.90) and had it split into 2 bowls and the portion was so big! That’s something I always love about pho! The warm peanut broth was delightful on the cold day. And I appreciated that the staff noticed we were ordering it to share with our kids and asked if onions and cilantro were alright. Very considerate! I would definitely stop here to eat again.

I can tell they get a lot of customers not just because they have great pricing but due to the staff thats very welcoming. I got their seafood peanut sate and it is a large bowl that will definitely fill you up. Would come back even though I live in Calgary.

This is a cozy and clean spot for some delicious Pho! We ordered the shrimp salad rolls and the Pho with beef and brisket, wow it was amazingly tasty! The pho broth is savoury and very flavourful with the slightest bit of glistening fat on the surface. Very very tasty, I would eat here anytime I’m coming through this area. Cozy family owned business vibe, great and attentive service, the food was just what you’re craving when you think of cozy homemade Vietnamese cuisine. Highly recommend, and the prices were great too!

i’ve been coming to this place for years. genuinely the best vermicelli bowl i’ve ever had (beef satay) the bubble tea was the first i’ve ever tried. this place truly holds a special place in my heart, i live far away and whenever i visit strathmore i have to come and get a vermicelli bowl.

Great food. I had the wor won ton soup. My girl had the satay beef and spring roll vermicelli, that was awesome. The spring rolls are great here. We finished off with ice cream and deep fried banana wraps, wow! So good. The service is good, and a very clean establishment. I was a little sad that they were out of Chinese beer, but the girl was happy. Definitely will come back.

We’ve had 2 Ringette tournaments in Strathmore in the past 3 years. We had to come back to Pho Minh after our amazing experience last time. We’ve tried 8 different menu items and they were all fantastic! The broth in the wonton soup is unbelievable! We’ll be back again!

I feel something fishy is going on for all these amazing reviews I am seeing as I only hear bad things about this place when it comes to word of mouth and from personal experience. I have to strongly disagree with all these “positive” reviews.
Although I agree that the food is 70% of the time very tasty, I do agree with previous statements of dishes being inconsistent with taste and fully disagree with the positive review on the portion size being efficient.
I am very sad to give this review because the owners seem genuinely hard working, appreciative and kind. My only hope is for this review to be seen and taken seriously by the owners and hopefully they will take it as constructive criticism and ultimately run a healthy successful business. I know it may not seem like it but I truly only wish to help.
My main concern is about the cleanliness of this establishment, it is very concerning!! I have given multiple attempts of returning in hopes to see improvements would be made however, it’s only getting worse so I sadly will not be returning anytime soon, soley because of the cleanliness!
I can only imagine the cleanliness and contamination that’s going on in the kitchen, given what we the patrons can see and feel in and around the whole restaurant being so disturbing I could only imagine what we don’t see.
The condiments are constantly sticky and gross to touch. Then seeing the tables being wiped with the same cloth over and over again is very unhealthy and is extremely unsettling you can literally feel the residue on the tables after being “wiped clean”
Sadly other than the dishes and the quick table wipe with a dirty cloth I don’t think much else gets cleaned
I have seen the same scuff and drip marks on the chairs, walls and doors.
Also please tend to bathrooms, you need to clean more than just toilet bowls and counter tops.
I don’t expect an eat off the floors kind of clean but seriously I can truly say without any doubt that I can not think of anywhere else that is worse for cleanliness.

Miss Information
My first visit to Pho Minh and I was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is clean, from the bathrooms to the tables. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh and delicious! Portion sizes are perfect. I had a vermicelli chicken satey bowl and it was the perfect amount (although I still didn’t finish it all).
This restaurant is now under new management and it shows! New menus which include a kids menu!
Highly recommend checking this place out!
