The service was amazing, the waiter was spectacular. The food came out very fast, which I really appreciated, and the presentation was nice.
However, I’ve tried many Vietnamese dishes, and unfortunately, the pho here did not taste like authentic pho. It didn’t seem like it was made by Vietnamese people, and the flavor just wasn’t there for me. The portion size was okay, and while the food looked pretty, the taste of the pho was disappointing.
If you’re looking for a place to study, grab fast food, or eat quickly for business, this could work. However, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for a date or a special occasion.
Pho lovers should consider trying a different Vietnamese restaurant if you’re looking for truly flavorful pho. That said, the waitress was very kind, and I appreciated the fast service. Thank you for letting me try your restaurant, maybe next time I’ll try a different dish and give it another chance.
The noodles were good. Beef brisket was very tender and flavorful. The broth was a bit on the salty side, so I didn’t drink it, as I usually would with soup. However, it flavored the food nicely, and I enjoyed that. I also like that the soup was not lukewarm.
There were 3 choices of spicy condiments, including two that complemented the pho well.
The condiment containers could use a good wipe down.
Food and service was solid, so I would come again.
They’ve changed their location and the new place is very neatly done up. They’ve got more tables, the place is more spaced out, better lighting, and the service is by the same staff ever since we first walked in. Would recommend this place 10 on 10 if and when you’re looking for food that is luxurious yet comforting.
As I was leaving, a staff member threw my belongings on the ground in a shocking display of unprofessionalism. To my utter disbelief, he then tried to grab me, making me feel threatened and unsafe. This kind of behavior is outrageous and should never occur in any establishment, let alone one that serves customers. He complained I was taking long because he had other customers to serve *no one was there and phone not ringing
I cannot stress enough how appalled I am by this experience. I urge anyone considering dining here to think twice—your safety and comfort should always come first.
Pho Long needs to seriously reconsider its staff training and customer service policies. Until then, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. The establishment well not even establishment (hut serving food) only had 2 patrons at all and now I completely understand why.
